so I just took 2 and a half m365's not really feeling anything just relaxed and mellowed. Now I've stumbled upon 1mg lorazepam tabs. I popped 2 and read on this website that 3mg is good so I took another one. Its been about 30 minutes and I'm starting to get nauseous not a lot just barely. My balance is kinda off but controlable and my speech isn't slurred. I've got 3 more 1mg tabs left should I take more?

You shouldn't take any more. Lorazepam, like most benzos, is subtle. If you take more you probably won't feel anything more and you will more than likely black out (which, in my opinion, is a waste of good drugs). Save the rest of your lorazepams for a rough day or when you need to get some sleep.

I've was on Lorazepam for a good while and I agree with NeighborhoodThreat.

Lorazepam is... probably the best benzo overall. It's very relaxing, anxiolytic, and in my opinion, it could be a candidate to be a replacement for opioids for use as an analgesic. I don't think people give Lorazepam enough credit as a benzo. It does exactly what it was designed to do and more.

Lorazepam is honestly one of the most important drugs in existence. It has (probably) the widest therapeutic range of any drug there is. Antiepileptic, anticovulsant, anxiolytic, antinauseant, muscle relaxant, analgesic, sedative, hypnotic. It's commonly prescribed for severe migraines, is sometimes used in the treatment of cluster headaches, and I'm sure it could be used as an anesthetic in certain situations.

It also possesses antipsychotic properties, is a vasodilator, and can be used to stop a heart attack in the case of a hypertensive emergency (nitrates are still preferred though). Lorazepam deserves to be in everyone medicine cabinets really. Unfortunately, it is quite physically addictive and that's what stops that from happening. Rightfully so too, but just saying...

Seriously, hold onto the Lorazepam. It's useful for so many things. Don't waste it on trying to get high. Lorazepam isn't euphoric at all. At doses of 2-4 milligrams it's definitely an excellent hypnotic. It's short half-life still won't give you a full nights sleep - but it will knock you out cold for a good five hours. I'd say it's even better than Ambien for sedation/hypnosis.

I still keep some around just in case. It's good for everything - from psychosis and paranoia, to sedation, to pain-killer - Lorazepam does it all.

Speak of the devil.

I get migraine headaches a couple times every 3 months or so. And literally right after typing this, I started seeing an aura and could instantly tell that I was about to have a horrible migraine. For those that don't know - migraines are some of the worse pain you can feel. It feels like someone is sticking a red hot piece of metal right into your eye sockets and it can lasts for up to 12 HOURS!

I've had to deal with them a lot in the past. But as soon as I started seeing the aura and felt the onset of pain - I quickly took 1 milligram of Lorazepam and within 15 minutes all signs of it were gone completely.

It really goes to show that - 'In a world where certainties are few, there's Ativan.'

While no doubt useful, I wouldn't be putting it in the panacea class yet. In many of those conditions lorazepam wouldn't be used in anything more than as an adjunct to other treatments or in specific cases. Some not at all.

This. I received a box of 50 1mg tabs and I popped them like m&ms. After a certain point, using more just causes sedation and amnesia.

Saved the last three but while I was laying down with my eyes shut I was thirsty so I go downstairs and all of a sudden I feel extremely nauseous next thing you know I'm puking out all the water I had been drinking since it was hot that day. It seemed that all I could do was lay down and go to sleep and if I got up I just threw up again and eventually nothing was coming out so it just went away. Its weird because when I tried heroin the exact same thing happened making me hate it. Not too sure that I like lorazepam maybe I took to many idk but hydro and xanax will remain my favorites.

If I took 1mg Lorazepam this morning at 9AM, how many hours would I have to wait before going out boozing at the bars?? Its 5:30PM in Toronto right now, would that be safe??

After 7 and a half hours the lorazepam is long gone.If you're healthy enough to hit the bars you are certainly safe from your 1mg Ativan dose this morning. When I would go out drinking with friends I would pop a handful of benzos so I wouldn't have to spend so much money buying overpriced bar drinks. That's just me though.Everyone reacts to drugs and alcohol differently.I'll go on record as saying I'm not encouraging you to do the same before somebody has a hissy fit over me telling about this.
