Lorazepam dosage question

So im substituting Lorazepam for my clonazepam till I get my Clonazepam refill on Wed (hopefully before) I know 1mg lorazepam equals .5mg clonazepam which i took 3 times a day for years. Thursday,Friday, and Sat i took just .5mg clonazepam morning and night. Today I started the Lorazepam since I am now out of clonazepam. I took a .5 lorazepam at 1015 am. I am thinking to take it every 6 hours. 10:15am, 415pm, 1015pm and then around 4 am My new question is should I continue to only take .5mg lorazepam every 6 hours or should it be 1mg? I only took .5 this morning cause I knew I still had clonazepam in my system.

So it sounds like you were previously on the equivalent of 3mg lorazepam daily (which is .5clon 3x a day, if I'm trusting your conversion of 2:1 loz to clon, I don't know this).

If that's true, and you're taking loz in half milligram doses, then 6x a day would be the equivalent. Either 6x at half a milligram or 3x at 1mg. I think it would make more sense to keep the same 3 times a day schedule as you had before.

Curious @Apollo0307 - where did you find the strength ratio? That may even be a good resource to have of blue light doesn't already.

Edit - I just confirmed via AI / Google.. but I don't trust them 100% so I still would like to know where you get your info from.
