lorazapam and oxycodone

okay this bird is pretty experienced with medications of all sorts. In your opinion. if a bird took 2mg ativan at 10:30 a.m. and decided to take a 30 mg Oxycontin dose at say 4 p.m. is this a okay dose. I know it's unsafe and causes resp. depression. But this is something the bird is used to. Fairly tolerant to lorazapam and oxy. Just wanting a opinion that is this amount of time in between doses sufficient for his health. He doesn't wanna be a health ledger.

don't feed your bird ativan, we know it's you.

if you're reasonably tolerant to both then it really should be no problem taking them both separately with such a time space between dosing.

Well im prescribed to both so i got nothing to hide. Just a paranoid freak about negative effects and never waking up is always a fear of mine. Don't go to sleep!! BTW my pets, including a bird. Loves benzos for separation anxiety : D

If you're prescribed both don't you think your doctor would have already assessed the risks of this combo for you? Truth be told the combo isn't that deadly in moderate dosages which you are using. Just don't take a handful of your Ativan and then decide it's probably a good idea to take 2 or 3 of your OCs.

you'll most likely be fine although its possibly dangerous as i have experienced when i take benzos and opiates my breathing shallows, and why i say shallows its almost impossible to get some air sometimes. i have a relatively high tolerance to both opiates and benzos and abused them together for a while as it gave an incredible high at the CORRECT doses so take it easy and assess. it kinda knocks you out too so be careful, you wont realise youre not inhaling properly until someone tells you either.
