Loratadine (claritin) for psychedelics induced nausea?

I often read people recommending to take diphenhydramine to reduce nausea related with psychedelic comeups. Do newer antihistamines like loratadine also relieve nausea, or is it strictly diphenhydramine because it crosses the blood brain barrier more efficiently?

No, I don't think loratadine would work, it needs to be an antihistamine with central activity. So you can't avoid the drowsiness completely, but you could take half a Benadryl (12.5mg DPH) and it won't be as bad.
