Just curious, but how much loperamide per day can you take before you OD?? I realize its different for everyone, I was just looking for an approximate range.


Also is loperamide the same as codeine, which means its virtually impossible to die from an OD

You can die from an overdose, I wouldn't push the limit with this stuff (there's no need to really - unless you find getting constipated "recreational").

I meant using loperamide for withdrawals

It's extremely possible to die of Codeine overdose. Especially if there's a severe histamine reaction. IV some codeine - pretty quick way to die.

It turns out we were all wrong about loperamide overdose. A book I own says an OD is unlikely to threaten life. I scanned the relevant page (see pic).
