Loperamide - Moderate - Trip Report with FFVII final fantasy!!!

I've spent literally DAYS on BL but today I finally took the plunge and registered and this is my 1st post. I know any and everything wrong with this post will be brought to my attention somehow (provided it gets seen at all by anyone lol) so here goes. First, some conext...

I'm 23. Been in love with opiates since my first hydrocodone (VICODIN Imprint, I got the good Name-Brand shit lol) at 16. I've always had (imo) a strange addiction in the sense that for years it was a non-issue. I'd take the pills when I stumbled into them (miraculously never less than 120 at a time) but I found that when I ran out each time, there was no withdrawal, and I would never ACTIVELY seek more. It was literally only if I would find a bottle (or 2 or 3) until I was 21. Then I became a full blown addict. I began using them as antidepressant and antianxiety meds but this time when I ran out I turned to a drug dealer friend and started on China White. Pure fentanyl. Eventually I switched to heroin. I ALWAYS took the hydro orally. Never snorted or shot them once. I ALWAYS snorted the China. Never IV. I MOSTLY snorted the dope. Then one day I had the worst back pain of my life. (I suffer from undiagnosed chronic lumbar pain). So I shot it. Worst decision I've ever made (aside from leaving my family and having an affair because on .5 of IN dope, it sounded GREAT but thats neither here nor there). So there I was, 22, banging dope. I had some epiphanies and revelations and set myself up with OUTpatient rehab. (Which rehab where I live is a MOTHER FUCKING JOKE. No wonder there's a fucking [so called] epidemic hitting the nation) so I went and was told that other patients had WD's and DT's so bad that they couldn't go 2 HOURS without vomiting and because i was 2 days into WD's I would recieve NO counseling and NO subs, no methadone, and not even VIVITROL. The nurse actually said, the ones who played the game got the meds. She didn't care if they sold em or took them and got stoned. They just played the game better so they got help.
All that being said, I kicked the dope at home, combo of alprazolam (XanaX) and gabapentin (Neurontin) [both purchased off the street, I'm done with doctors in this town] and stayed clean for some time. I love opiates and crave them everyday so in an effort to appease my wife (with the illusion of sobriety) and still get my fix, I turned to loperamide. I'm a fucking moron, but i'm fairly intelligent book-wise. I know the name brand and generic name of every opiate there is so I knew for sometime Lope was an opiate just never how it worked bc I'd never taken it (I research the living FUCK out of any drug I do BEFORE I take it so at 16 i was decently versed on my opiate/opiod) so I got on the wonderful Internet and that led me here to BL where I decided to try Lope to get high after sporadic sobriety. Heres the TR for anyone who cares to read it. Or don't read it. I'm just bored and this seemed like a good time-killer. Fuck it,Here Goes:

[note I've been clean with the exception of a beer last week for over a month prior to trying this so no tolerance and nothing else in my system]

Day 1:

• 11:30 - purchase generic loperamide, 72 ct bottle (small green pills, loperamide the only active ingerient), get in car and drive home

• 11:50 - take a handful (Less than half the bottle is all i know count wise) [read here on BL somewhere that someone staggered their dose so fuck it, I will too]

• 12:00 - take ~20 pills, no effects yet
• ~12:15-12:20 - take the rest of the pills
• ~12:45-13:00 - some onset, unsure if full onset, head pressure is the only way I can describe it but not unpleasant
• ~13:15 - my body is getting warm, I''m getting excited at this point
• 13:30 - begin rubbing my face, (when I was a teenager on hydro this was my "ok i'm fuckin stoned" point)
• 14:00 - LOL yup, I'm high

Yes, I know and understand how ridiculous this all is but I love ope's so I'd call this a qualified success.
I'd say this is closer to pills like hdryocodone, oxycodone, oxycontin and morphine oral but with SUBSTANTIALLY less euphoria.
I do notice I have slightly laboured/depressed breathing. I'm not a doctor or scientist/chemist so I can only speculate but it FEELS to ME like CNS involvement.

• COMPARED TO [IV] DOPE & DOPE/FENTANYL(mixture)
  • ​horrid comparatively, I'd rather shoot dope (i didn't expect it to be better or even at par with dope, I'm not that dumb, but you never know...well now i do lol)
  • Feels like hr 1 or 2 after IVing dope when you start to come down, except it's groggier
• COMPARED TO [IN(snorted)] DOPE & DOPE/FENTANYL(mixture)​
  • ​If snorting is you preffered ROA then this is like coming down off of snorted heroin 3-5 hours after init dose of snorted dope except that's how the lope high begins and stays for the duration of the high
• ​COMPARED TO [ORAL] PILLS
  • ​to ME this is what it's closest to (relatively) just with MUCH less euphoria and increased 'grogginess' (for lack of a better term'

***I read on here that you have to give your system a 2-3 day 'cool-off' period to get itout of your system so the next dose willbe effective so I waited 3 days and on day 2 drank a single beer****


DAY 2

• 11:50 - have purchased another 72 ct bottle for less than $6.00 USD (small green pills again, loperamide the only active ingerient)
• 12:00 - decide to not stagger dose and take all 72 (144mg) at once (three handfuls with no time in between)
• 12:20 - slight warmth and head pressure onset, enough to notice but not enough to be more than a very slight BUZZ
• 13:30 - remember reading that diphenhydramine (Benadryl) has been reccommended by physicians as a temporary antianxiety because of the sedative qualities
• 13:55 - no further lope onset
• 14:05 - take 4 benadryl capsules (25mg ea. 100mg total)
• 14:25 - FULL lope onset, Head high, warmth, grogginess, laboured breathing, super sensative touch (rubbed my face again, felt fan-fucking-tastic),
• 14:40 - Can feel the benadryl kicking in, increased body high and sleepiness from the diphenhydramine
• 15:07 - Just had a faux or pseudo- NOD, from the benadryl I'm sure but this feels close enough to dope for me
• 15:30 - Call it a success, go play guitar for 3 hours
• ​18:30 - still high, hasn't waned at all decide that if I DON'T play final fantasy vii I'll hate myself, go play FFVII
• 00:45 - still high, hasn't waned at all, bed time

I understand the fears and hesitations associated with this medication given the deaths and abundant information available on it but I decided to ignore it and do this and got lucky. I got a poor mans high, twice nonetheless. Not the best high I've ever had but it was a high regardless. That's my TR. Sorry for the long ass intro. Seemed relevant so I typed it up. Cheers. ^^ Well yeah you can, it definitely has effects, obviously it's nothing compared to an opiate that easily crosses the BBB, but the effects include lethargy, numbness and drowsiness. If you're withdrawing from opiates, a high dose, for many people, will provide a substantial amount of relief that goes far beyond stopping the shits. I don't get why some people are so intense about it though, I see a lot of ridicule for people who try to say they've gotten high on it or even people who say it helps withdrawals, I don't get that.

It's a shitty high though, I'd never do it for the high, but I used to use it to help withdrawals from morphine.

Now to reply to the OP:

Wow, tiny text, did you do that on purpose? Probably hard for some to read.

Loperamide is dangerous because it is damaging to the heart in large doses. I strongly recommend not doing this anymore, there is a big thread that has years of replies in this forum somewhere and there are various stories about people dying or almost dying. It's not from overdose with this opiate, it's from actual damage to the heart. I used to take it to help ease withdrawal, and I never took more than 80mg at a time. 144mg is so much... really, really bad for you.

Also you say you have been clean... you're playing with fire man, be careful. I was addicted to opiates for 10 years... been off them for over 3 now and no desire to go back, life is way better.

Hey Xorkoth thanks for the reply. I've had issues staying clean for a loooong while now. I'll go a couple months sober then out of nowhere BAM! gotta have somethin. Any tricks to help with that? I'm seein a doc the next town over this week for anxiety but I've never been able to curb the cravings. Also, I apologize for anything I might've done wrong in that post but again, thanks for the reply.

Well, I took an ibogaine flood dose when I was almost through withdrawal after trying many times to quit and always coming back, I came out of it a week later feeling like I didn't want opiates (and also I wanted to get in shape and eat right), and I haven't had a craving since and it's been over 3 years. Also totally transformed my body, I've never been strong or very in shape before until then, or thought much about what I ate. It really changed my life. Not even sure why because it was a very strange and dream-like experience, it was like it rearranged my subconsciousness.

Sedation without the euphoria

Diphenhydramine causes flushing ( sensitive touch), blocks sodium ion channels causing a local anesthetic feeling in throat and dry mouth as well as stimulates a increase in respiration by antagonizing cholinergic receptors, warmth (stimulates the cardiovascular system) , groggieness histamine receptors play a important role in alertness

What a stupid fucking thread for so many reasons. If you act quickly and ask nicely, the mods may be able to delete your account and all the damage done with it.

Loperamide is a known killer, causing QT elongation and fatal heart arrhythmias. It also does NOT get you high.

We don't delete peoples' accounts for posting their experiences. But it's true that loperamide is dangerous in high doses. The only time I would ever recommend it is if you're seriously unable to get off a real opiate, then taking a high dose of it a few times when withdrawal gets really bad can probably be a net benefit, as it blocks a pretty hefty percentage of the physical symptoms of opiate withdrawal. You still won't feel great but you'll be able to sleep and you won't feel like everything is the worst thing in the world. It really does work for that. A high? No, I wouldn't call it a high of any sort, there is no euphoria or good feelings.

But yes, loperamide can and does kill people in high doses due to heart problems. To experiment with it just for kicks to try to get high is very foolish. When I took it to try to get off opiates, I was taking 60-70mg, which is less than half of what's reported in this report. The OP is lucky he didn't die. No one should take that much, ever.

Loperamide is only safe in the recommended dosage, which is, what, 2mg, or 4mg?
