Loperamide dosage for minor Wds?

I was wondering what would be the recomended dosage for Loperamide for preventing minor withdrawal symptoms from opiates without ODing on it or, causing severe constipation?

you're probably going to get a wide range of anwsers from this but I've found that between 12-16mg helped alleviate some my my symptoms. If you've got a pretty good opiate tolerance (which I'm assuming you do if you are experience wd's) then dont worry about the constipation - it'll be no worse than the constipation caused by opiate use. last time I went thru wd's I took 14 mgs of loperamide and didn't notice any atypicl bowel movements and/or lack thereof.

how much were you using prior to stopping? I think the higher your daily usage amount was, the more loperamide you'd have to take to help.

Yeah the above statements, and i've taken up to 100mg, trying to take piperadine with it to inhibit a enzyme.. .but w/e

The worst you'll get is constipation for a few days if you take to much
