looking for opinions on a new experience for me (amphetamines + opiates question)

So I'm going to a rave soon, but I'm not trying to roll again till at least august or september and I wanna save the psychs for later, so I'm considering trying a low level speedball imitation with either oxycodone or oxymorphone and adderall. So my question to all of you is have you tried it/did you enjoy it/do you think it's a terrible idea?

Also, I'm not particularly experienced with this kinda combo. I've only dabbled in low dose combinations of various upper and downer pharms, so what would a safe dose ratio/schedule be for someone with virtually no amphetamine tolerance and a moderate-low opiate tolerance(I usually max out at 30-50mg oxycodone oral by itself)? Would you recommend one aforementioned opiate over the other for this combo? Would xr or ir adderall suit the scenario better? I also always enjoy ketamine; would it mix well or just be a bad idea?

personally, i've been to clubs before fucked up on oxy or oxy/speedball combos, and ususally the night doesn't really turn out that good. i'm usually just kinda buzzing by myself, and even though i'm high and am loose, i still don't feel like really getting intimate with people. one time i went and there was this really fine girl that i was dancing with, but i honestly didn't even really care to dance with her. i ended up showing no interest in her since i was fucked up, and that was that.

have you considered DXM? i've read of people doing DXM at raves before.

in light fo harm reduction if you do try dxm PLEASE read up on it first. don't just grab random pills/syrups at the drugstore and chow down. There's some chems usually mixed in there you don't want to take a lot of (Guaifenesen and APAP )

I don't recommend using DXM at a rave either. A lower dosage (lower than your 30-35mg limit) mixture of oxycodone and an amphetamine could work for you.

When mixing drugs like that, however, you need to make sure you can handle each drug by itself without problems, before even thinking about mixing them. DXM at a club can be a bit disorienting, I would look around Psychedelic Drugs and read people's Trip Reports for more information on various combinations, it should at point you in the right direction

I've never done DXM at a club myself but I've used it plenty of times and I think a 2nd plat/3rd plat would be perfect for that setting.

personally, i dont like any pharm opiate mixed with pharm stim. but i do adderall + benzo + weed. its the closest thing you can get to legal X. you will mostly feel to the stimulation from the adderall but the benzo will be there in the background slower your heart rate, making you less anxious, more free, ect... and i just love weed so i gotta have it lol. sometimes ill add in some booze but if you aren't tolerant then i don't suggest it. shit can get ugly real quick with benzos/alcohol

I've had quite enough dxm for a while after the last couple years. I've pretty much worn out the experience in a pretty irresponsible way, so I can definitely rule that out. To the majority of you who seem to favor avoiding this combo, would either drug by itself lend itself to the setting more effectively? I kinda feel like each one on its own makes me kinda irritable, but there's definitely a dominating mindset when you go to a rave that might counteract that. Thoughts?

Also still welcoming comments from people who have tried it and liked it/didn't like it!

taking too many opiates is just gonna make you not care about the other people there, and if you get a case of oxy rage, it's just gonna be down hill from there. other people annoy me sometimes when i'm on oxy, and it just stresses me out and i can't relax.

too many amps is just gonna make you annoying to anyone you talk to.

your best bet is probably some form of psychedelic, or just end up rolling. i mean, it is a rave, and i feel like if you rule DXM out, it's either psychs or beans from here lol. a not-too-strong dose of 4-aco-dmt could be fun.

have you considered maybe just going drunk or high?

Obviously too much of anything would be ill advised. If I went with any of the substances I originally mentioned, they would be in moderation to prevent the very mishaps you outlined.

Unfortunately, I get tested periodically, so anything that sticks around longer than a week isn't a good idea or I undoubtedly would show up high.

I'm not a fan of drunk raving. It can get pretty sloppy and requires constant maintenance to maintain a decent drunk level without getting sloppy trashed lol.

Unless I get any significant positive feedback about the amps/opiates I'll probably end up going with a psych, k bumps, or pulling the elusive sober rave. Those are fucking exhausting though.

i would recommend some amps to get you going... open up a bit, socialize, as the rave goes on, some bumps of ket to get a bit psyched out... maybe redose on amps if the Ket slows things down too much... and keep the oxycodone/morphone for the come-down, or after party....
