Looking for info about Red Meth Pills (Yabba) in SE Asia

Hey!
Im in thialand and where im staying there is constant supply of these little red pills they call Yabba, ive already done a bit of research (when I can be arsed to get off the hammock and sit in this internet cafe) and found out a few things of interest..... and a few that worry me a wee bit as well. The problem is I want to know EXCACTLY how it works and what its doing, something like dancesafes "how e works" thing would be sweet. OR. Any random bollocks from anyone whos tried this stuff before, what you rekon to it, how you did it etc etc. Ive been on it for a few months and chase the smoke off foil and it's been pretty much a session everyday ( i blame it on the people next door!) THis stuff doesnt sound like the crystal meth that people rant on about to me though, the buzz is nice and the taste is morish but I wouldnt rate the rush as high as E. You can get the pills in green and other colours as well which I found out, people didnt want to listen when I said the green ones aren't a 1 in every thousand and 3 times stronger.
So.
Any stuff appreeeshiated!

There are probably a few reasons why the high might not seem like other things you've read about meth.
First of all, the pills contain fillers and binders, so you're not just smoking meth.
Second, you really have no practical means of determining the doses.
Thirdly, most descriptions of meth you've probably read are from people who snorted it. I think the stimulant effects from meth are much longer lasting when it's snorted versus smoked, personally.
There are probably a lot of other things, too.
Also, what did you mean by this:

i think he means the green ones arent as uncommon as people might think but they are stronger?
i think they are both methamphetamine.
i remember seein on the net a while back "diary of a drug addict" about a boy from Thailand who described them exactly as you do.
but, what do i know? ive never had the luck of being struck with some that aint been used as just cut (wowa, flowin this mornin'... ;) )

I'm also in Thailand, and using yabba.
I find taking it orally works best for me.
The smoking ritual is kinda fun, but like you said, you don't get much of a rush from doing it.
BTW, have you quit taking it for a few days?
I went on a couple of week long binges, and slept for about 16 hours per night for the next few nights.

SovietContin: What you said is true enough, some of them are better than others but the buzz isnt TOO bad, its not amazing but pretty nice. That bit you didnt understand.... I read on erowid about different coloured pills and how it came to that. THe greens are the same as far as I could tell but some people rekon its a special one you get at random and its POWERFUL. Maybe it is, i tried a bit and dont agree though.

Calling me a geek bitch!! :) But the portriat I painted was a bit messy, a session for sure but there we go...
skydigger... Ive quit every now and then for a few days (3-4ish) and I know what you mean, I just felt tired but it wasnt that bad. A boot fixed that shit though :)
Im still not sure what the stuff does though. Seritonin rings a bell but im not sure how it uses it.
Fuck it. This Inet cafes playing steps or some shit! Next to my ear!!!!!!!

I've done 1 green one myself, but when yer in the middle of a Yabba binge it's hard to tell.
The texture was different, it burned a bit slower, but I didn't notice any different effects.
Just read up on "Meth", thats what its supposed to be.
This shit is made by the Burmese. It's pretty consistant. I think that they've got a fairly standard dose that is calculated just to keep those poor Thai's hooked on it.
The media sure exagerates it's harmful effect on Thailand though. I stayed up for close to 3 days, and I didn't have any hallucinations or anything out of the ordinary. I lost a lot of weight though. I went to the doctor one evening after swallowing 2 or 3 in the morning, I'd lost almost 30lbs since I saw him 2 months previous, and my heart rate was 108 BPM.

I haven't missed out on loads of sleep yet,a couple of nights maybe but normally I just dont get round to eatting, mainly cause im lazy as fuck, but by the time everybody wakes up and has breakfast its 3 or 4 pm, then I try and cram some random stuff in before the food place shuts and then its night time again and people are up for it. Ive woken up at sunset 3 times in a row which was quite funny but I feel like ive wasted to many nice days, then I thnk, fuk it, already done 8 months "real" traveling so its ok :) Im turning into a bean pole though, I keep on having to add extra holes to my belt! Definatley not moderation ATM, and i normally pride myself on that one. MY sister and her b-friend had a 3 day session though, he went through a fair few, too many in my opinion, and said he was tripping out pretty hard. Said it was quite funny though so fair enough.
Nice driver. I'll probably be at the full moon..... again. I was trying to get off this island but the months fly past, I just got my visa the other day (or so it seems) and its up for renewal in 4 days!! The march one will be my fifth if I go. Doh!! Normally they're pretty wicked though, it gets messy at sunrise when you notice how fucked the whole place is but so long as you stay away from the cactus bar and stick to paradise, zoom, orchid, and big boom bar you'll have a blast!
