I'm trying to figure out if there is a drug that I can safely or somewhat safely take that will allow me to have improved Focus. I suffer from anxiety and depressive disorders which greatly impact my ability to concentrate making it nearly impossible for me to do so much as read a book. And this is a really big problem for me and scares the hell out of me because I don't know how I will be able to focus or study when I go to college. The SSRI's I'm taking right now only make it more difficult causing me to feel dulled and sedated and drowsy all the time.I don't want to feel drowsy and sedated and have such low energy levels. I want to feel energetic and alive and focused. I'm taking mirtazapine and venlafaxine which honestly don't work very well. seeing the psychiatrist again at the end of the month he will probably just want to play with the dosages. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this I'm new here.

Usually people are prescribed either Adderal, Dexedrine or Ritalin for this kind of thing, all of which can work very well to help people with ADHD (and those without) with their concentration and they also help with drowsiness and can help you to feel awake and alert.

There are also plenty of other drugs that can help with this like nootropics.

Talk to your psychiatrist and tell him you want to try something new like Adderall or Ritalin and you should be able to find something that works.
