looking for a pipe...

I'm looking for a particular kind of pipe, and none of the smoke shops around here have one. I've looked online as well, but haven't seen anything. Maybe someone here could tell me where to look. Basicly, it's a glass hand pipe. But it's not the typical kind that's designed for smoking bud. It has a narrow opening on the top of the bowl, and you heat up the contents from underneath while drawing the vapors through the stem.
I know about the whole "rose in a glass tube" thing, but I'd prefer to find an actual pipe with a bowl and all, jsut can't seem to find one. Is there some "crack pipe store" out there I don't know about? ;)

you mean you want a BASE PIPE. dude, just make your own, you can make em outta light bulbs or those air freshener things.

I've seen them online at a few places, if this is infact what you're looking for, let me know and ill try to find the link again...but if you're looking for a crack pipe, search for "crack pipe" in other drugs and you'll find a thread on this with many examples, don't know if it has any links to online places though...

I could not find a single place online that sells crack pipes, grrr...I even spent a while looking for you.
Soooo...how to make your own.
Get a butane torch and some glass test tubes (hopefully you have access to such, I know my bf nicks them from his chem lab?).
Light your torch and take your test tube, and stick the end of it in the flame of the torch. Hopefully your test tube is not TOO short or it will get kinda hot...Anyways, heat the end of the tube up, it might take a while, and keep rotating it around so it heats evenly...
After a couple minutes start blowing VERY GENTLY (it does not take a lot of force, and if you blow to hard you will blow holes in the glass) while you KEEP ROTATING the end of the tube. Go slowly and blow out the end of the tube into a spherical shape very gradually, over the course of a few minutes. When it is blown out enough to hold a rock/shard, remove it from the flame and keep rotating it while it cools. If you don't keep rotating it it will sink down on top and wont be properly shaped.
After a couple of minutes of cooling (it does not have to be totally cooled just mostly), put it back in the flame, but this time just heat up one side of the bulb. Then, blow into the tube again, and blow a little harder than you were blowing before...this should blow out a little hole in the side that you were selectively heating. After blowing out the hole, remove the tube from the flame and cool for a bit. If the hole is protuding (and is kind of tube-like) then you can heat that part again a bit and then cool it with the hole facing upwards, and gravity will cause the glass to melt down slightly.
Hopefully that all made sense, it's hard to describe, but I'm sure that if you practice a bit you will get the hang of it. The nice thing about making your own crack pipes is that it's cheaper in the long run (as test tubes are very cheap) and that can be a real bonus as crack pipes often get broken...

queen chalele. Thats all we use for meth down here in GA. I love em but i i have this love for the ol' rose tube. 2.58 $ atl my local chevron. Oh U dont lose amoke as long as your pulling on it. shards here seem rock harden oack up quickly. Right after u get done inhaling. Put a penny directly press underneeth the ball part. rotate the pipe leaving the peeny in the same position. U'll see as gravity pulls the liquid meth to the bottm of ther ball. the copper will absorb the heat and the meth actually spread evenly accross the entinre ball as it hardens. little trick i learned and makes its easier to smoke to me for some reson. Oh yeah when smokin out of that kind of pipe use a regular lighter and rotate the pipe left to right. The meth will make a little swirl tornado type dill with the smoke... its kewl and allows a bigger hit for me atleast... God i have smoked shards for way too long to know this bullshit
