Have been thinking a lot recently about a certain idea. this idea contains a new analog/RC/or combination of.... thujone, A powerful dissociative( ket analog, MXE, or DXM. ) and Alcohol. Any research done on this this topic is interesting even experiences of the sort. But finding and combining a new substance being a RC/Analog is what interests me the most. Finding this topic is elusive any combinations of this topic being practice should and will be used with the up most respect and safety of these substances. Before we get into the topic of drug chems, Rcs and such id like to ask if any one has ever tried a combination of the two *(Absinthe and Ket) and was it safe or recreational at the most? Anything close to this combination as a Analog should be posted below for this exact research.

Peace and wellbeing to all....

Alcohol itself is a dissociative as it has NMDA antagonist properties, but the problem is that alcohol is not selective at all (it also hits GABA receptors, some ion channels etc) and is also hepatotoxic to boot. Also, even though dissociatives on their own tend to not depress respiratory output, alcohol does, and a mixture that potentiates alcohol too much has the possibility for not only OD but also blackouts, nausea, loss of coordination etc.

as for thujone, it seems to be a convulsant, and doing some back of the napkin math on the rat ld50 suggests a LD50 for human would be on the order of 500mg pure thujone, however commercial beverages are limited to ~50mg/L maximum, so you'd need to drink a Dumb amount of absinthe to get thujone poisoning. in a suprising twist the antidote for thujone toxicity is ... ethanol. I think it's fairly well proven absinthe is Just Another Apertif, considering it's what, 40% ethanol and 0.002-0.005% thujone...
