They have to be taking the piss. How much meth could you get on a blotter? Almost a mg if you tried really hard. Perhaps two if you left out the acid. Or perhaps just used NBOME instead. Silly people saying silly things about silly drugs. Tis silly sez I.

I dont quite understand how they get away with writing such inaccurate nonsense.
 
Yep, freedom of press... over exaggerate, fabricate bollocks, they dont care as long as their papers are selling

If I were writing an article which was going to be read by thousands of people id be as sure as I could be that it was accurate. Not just so I dont look like a clown but because misinformation is dangerous, especially when it comes to drugs...!

They do write utter crap about most things but they do seem to really push the nonsense when it comes to drugs especially. Im not sure if its due to us having a better knowledge of drugs than your average thus making us more critical, I dont know.

This is perhaps the shonkiest bit of journalism I've ever read.
 
Hi guys,

I was talking to someone who took the same blotter as these kids a good few weeks ago, and while he didn't go to hospital, everyone in his group had toyed with the idea while they were tripping because they all had a horrible time. All are quite experienced with acid. I'm trying to figure out what it was, can anyone help me?

-extremely bitter taste on the blotter
-felt the effects within 15 minutes (this seems to rule out 25i, I remember it took about 90 mins for it to hit me)
-90% of his vision was gone to hallucinations
-he saw police in the room, doctors in the room, and friends he hadn't seen in years.
-incredibly delirious
-he thought he was wounded all over
-had PTSD afterwards.

The lads in UCD all seriously hurt themselves from what I'm hearing. I'm inclined to say it wasn't nbome as I know plenty of people who had fantastic times on it, I couldn't see how the experience could turn so dark, especially among different groups of people at once.

Hmm... the 15 minute thing definitely doesn't sound like NBOMe cos they take a long time to come up. So does DOx I believe. I can't think of anything that does come up so quickly. Very strange. Hopefully somebody will get these things tested cos there seems something very strange about them. What fits on a blotter and only takes 15mins to come up? I can't think of anything.
 
That makes a lot more sense. Stims + LSD can be an iffy combo sometimes. Strange it affected all of them to quite that extent but presumably they must've taken a shitload of speed and gone on a mad paranoid one. Do people really call that combo 'scuzz'? New one on me.

Also rather amused by...

A garda told the Irish Independent: "There has been a lot of misinformation about the drugs involved. There is no evidence of any cocktail and it is clear from the toxicology tests that the hospitalised students had taken amphetamines and LSD separately.
