Longtime listener...finally a member

While I have been reading on the forums for years, I have never made the leap to become a member. Until today. I have Crohn's disease and am in pain pretty much all the time. My drs have me on so many different meds and I feel I have become dependent on them. It's a scary place to find yourself. I don't want to be "addicted". But I also don't want to be in pain. In the last few months I have found myself having to double my doses to get adequate relief. But then I have a med shortage at the end of the month. Not sure what to do or where to go. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Welcome to Bluelight! I'm really sorry to hear about your pain from Chron's disease.

My suggestion: let your doctor know you're in more pain than your meds can help with. You can go from there.
