Longing for knowledge
Traversing his mind
The psychonaut took his dive
Saying a mantra
Made up of vowels
He fell asleep to really wake up
Long was his journey
His eyes twitching
Thousand years have passed that night
Open the eyes
But blank is the stare
Forgotten is home and feelings long gone
Traveling worlds
Of his inner temple
Free and curious but missing some
Years have passed
Memories faded
And now he is back on a brown futon
Alone in the room
Four in the morning
Family still asleep under dream's charm
he left the next morning
not explaining
And never blinked when his Mother cried

my friends told me they didnt understand crap in this poem so here it is. This guy intentionally did something to his mind, fell asleep and lived a thousand years during three hours of sleep inside his skullbox, he wakes up and his home seems so distant he doesnt even remember why it was once important, so are his past relationships, he is severely traumatized, he catches his breath and leaves his home forever etc etc
