I would like to introduce myself. I am an "experienced" Kansas boy. I've learned so much about harm reduction from this site And I am so pleased to become a part if it. Hopefully my advice will save someone's life some day!

Hi there. I'm new as well. Made a few comments on some people's threads while trying to work up the nerve to askMy questions ;). Anyway I feel like there are some people who really get it and others who really don't! Should be an Interesting experience for all.
Also have a Question - since I'm new to forums and at the risk of sounding totally uncool - what the heck is this SWIM thing all about. I know it's banned but I just would like to know it IS. Thanks!

Yep im a newly registered user too, however i've reading forums from this site for years, but i came acrossed an intriguing topic and needed to chime in! ;)

Oh btw I believe the whole "swim" thing is an attempt to say "I'm" without getting yourself into trouble.. but at this point I'm fairly certain the authorities know about this tactic and it is a closed loophole. However my friend told me a good way to going about it is instead of saying "you" or "I" have a question , or problem , or whatever ,say " my friend " has a question.. or a problem, or whatever.

Welcome to bL. Let us know what your interests are a bit more, and someone will be happy to point you towards the specific forums you might most enjoy.

SWIM stands for someone who isn't me...

Just a heads up so you don't run into issues with it down the road, that also is not allowed here. As the BLUA puts it:
The use of ineffective self-incrimination avoidance terms is forbidden. Terms include but are not limited to: SWIM; my dog; my cat; a mouse; my pet hamster.

Reason being, posts become hard to read, and it offers ZERO legal protection.
