Hello and thank you to all whom have taken the time to read this introduction! I have been a regular lurker/reader of threads for many,many years but just recently decided to become a member should I decide to create a new thread or reply to one I find especially interesting or provocative.
I use virtually every kind of recreational drug imaginable;some more than others. I smoke marijuana on a semi-regular basis and find using entheogens (when my intuition tells me it's time) very rewarding spiritually,physically and emotionally. All other recreational drugs I only use when offered or if I feel particularly strong need to do so,and I take small to medium doses of benzodiazepines daily to keep panic attacks and insomnia in check.
I have VERY extensive knowledge of the effects,chemistry and pharmacology of pretty much any substance that can be used in a recreational,spiritual or medicinal application.
On an only partially-related subject;I am a Druid and a worker of various kinds of magic(though never with malevolent intent or without the permission of the person for whom the magical working is being performed). As such, I live by the nine Druidic virtues (http://www.druidcircle.org/library/index.php?title=Celtic_Virtues) ,and I include meditation and spiritual journeys facilitated by entheogenic substances among my magical workings.
