Long term use opiates

What has morphine done to my body after 8 years of taking it......​

The most I was prescribed daily was:
80mls oramorph
400mg Zomorph

My dose is much lower now
100mg Zomorph

I also take 600mg pregabalin a day.
Will there be any damage to my body caused by using opiates for this long. I’ve given up on my receptors ever recovering as I’ve never adjusted to a lower dose. Mentally I feel broken and have no incentive to do anything.

Opiates don't really cause physical damage aside from the addiction problems. Your brain and your body will recover fully if you quit them.
