Couldn't find anything but vague hints about this.

How well are the psychedelic benzofurans like 6-APB likely to keep over time?

What if you just keep it in a bag in your sock drawer, with hot summers and all? I understand MDMA Hcl stays intact pretty well even under somewhat adverse conditions.

But what about the succinates?

Around 15 minutes ago I made an anonymous post as RunningOut, but I just realized I forgot to indicate the forum section.

I think ADD, or OD would be best. I don't think I would get a proper answer in Ecstasy.

Really, ADD would be best even though it is not exactly an 'advanced' question, but you tend to get only answers like "done worry mtae you be fine I just popped some two months old and im tripping balls" in Ecstasy and to a certain extent this is true also of OD.

The reason it is relevant to other people is because of the recent temporary ban on 6-APB et al in Britain, which will lead to a global shortage and likely disappearance of the benzofuran market very soon.

I forgot to ask about decomposition products, you are very welcome to add that if possible: "And what about decomposition products, anything dangerous?"

Thanks in advance and for being a BL mod!

Hey there,

Thank you for your thank you. Unfortunately, select forums are responsible for select substances, and 6-APB is one of those that belongs in Ecstasy Discussion such as the several 6-APB megathreads they have there. If you feel like your question hasn't been answered to the best possible degree after spending a short while there, please get in contact with a moderator to resolve the issue.

phenethylamines are notorious for their stability in pretty standard conditions. I don't really see why the furan ring would make any difference.
Even LSD, and some pretty unstable tryptamines keep for a good while in standard room conditions.
The fact it's a salt at all will increase it's life for basically forever.
I don't think the decomposition product should be anything to worry about either, because they'll be in such small quantities. I don't know what it would de compose into, but I imagine it would be inactive anyway.

I will note that every 10C rise in temperature causes the rate of decomposition to double.
TBH I think your 6-apb would outlive you at a similar potency kept where it is now. I assume your room doesn't get very hot, or the temperature is at least fairly constant and doesn't fluctuate massively.
