Long term LSD 'side' effects

Yeah, for me too, tripping in begging was hard as fuck. Now I just go with the flow and nothing can stop me. Everytime I trip I get more euphoria from trip, I kinda learned to activate it.

Long term, LSD? Depends how you trip. If you trip dumb stuff, you get kinda dumb. If you trip logically, you turn into more logical type. Really, you learn from trips, and whatever you learn, stays with you! After all, all your senses are over-driven for 12h, including mentality. In both cases, you become a bit weirder.

Also visuals, mild-HPPD is common. I found LSD causes as much as or even more visual disturbance as 2c-x molecules. But, tripping often makes me happy everyday, so maybe not tripping often makes me sad, without motivation. It's stuff we found with friends, the days we tripped often we would be more on drive, motivated.

Hmm, interesting stuff spacejunk. Playing with lucy without getting burned .. LSD is safe physically, burning stuff is just what I wrote, it depends on how you trip :). In any way you get burned, it just matters, what you burn. (Burning not in a way of destroying, in a way how you burn a data into CD (your brains))

you should be okay with long-persisting subtle visual phenomena (seeing things move a little in your periphery, stars twinkle extra bright). the biggest one i found was the company i enjoyed being around. youre probably going to enjoy being with "freakier" people, whether they take LSD or not. for me, i cant really identify with plain, whitebread, sheltered people at all anymore. on the plus side, if youre a creative person, psychedelics have a tendency to be catalysts in terms of creative expression whether thats music, art, or whatever. youll be living in the NOW, for better or for worse. ill tell you what though, its almost painful for me to play music thats not improvisation-centeric anymore.

I did a half tab a few days ago. It was great, but usually, it's the sort of thing I would only do once or twice a year. There was a feeling like I'd dropped a candy bomb on my brain, and it fizzled out with the most curious sensation of, well, acid. It didn't feel unhealthy or anything, just kind of heavy, and it left me feeling like it's not something I'd want to do often, unlike perhaps some other substances like 2C-B.

Having said that, I'm doing it again at a full tab in a few days, but after that, I'm trying some san pedro, then taking a break from psychedelics for a couple of months.

Anyway, obviously I can't talk about side effects from just one experience, but there's my input anyway - wouldn't do it too often. It's a long-ish trip and your psyche will most likely need proper time to absorb the experience.

as a kinda digression, since i'm in a similar situation to OP, what would be preferable; the side effects of getting drunk weekly/fortnightly or of tripping weekly/fortnightly in the long term?

i suppose your body has hangovers to keep you in check, but i suppose the resolution to 'never do it again' following a really bad trip is going to stick with you a lot longer than a morning of headache and nausea.

if there's a party, i'd trip, roll or candyflip anyday over getting perilously drunk.

well, acid comedowns can be rough, but hangovers made me quit drinking entirely. booze makes me feel shitty for days.
acid, on the other hand, gives me an afterglow.
