Long term effects of E use

This is the stupidest bit of text I have seen all summer. Congrats.

Thedea.org is NOT the United States "Drug Enforcement Administration". He's a well respected member of this board and runs a website dealing with drug education.

If you are going to criticize then please do so constructively. :)

I'm not convinced that mdma use or drug use can cause you to have a psychological disorder, but I do believe that drug use can bring out those underlying tendencies.

Also, how can you be positive that it was the mdma when you were doing other drugs?

havent read all the replies, sorry, but i promise you ..heavy e use will effect you long term neurologically/mentally. and it could be 20 months or 20 years from now (if you're still alive)... thats when the "side effects" will come, when you get older you will notice. plus you never know whats in pills...

I know what you are talking about. That isn't always a bad thing though. Sometimes, it helps me get through a tough week. I'm like that anyway though, mdma or not :D

Yeah definitley, i like it.. the week flys by and you always know in the back of your head one im finished school/work on friday il be off my nut and olving every minute of it :P

if there is one thing that helps my ocd its MDMA, allways kicks me out of some weird obsession

You've gotta look at both sides of the coin. If you say that MDMA can cause long lasting negative effects then you must also admit it can cause long lasting positive effects so it becomes a question of cost vs. benefit.

Your statement is contradicting.

How can you be sure that mdma is going to do permanent brain damage? Please post a source. It's still uncertain whether or not mdma causes permanent neurological damage.

Also, how can you be certain that the mdma is what actually causes neurological damage if there could be cuts in pills? Isn't it possible that the damage was caused by the cut? Then there are the people who use other drugs as well as mdma, what's not to say that one of those other drugs isn't the cause of the brain damage?

There are just way too many possibilities to just generalize and say "Mdma WILL effect you in the long run"

my panic attacks, anxiety disorder, and craziness use has something to do with my MDMA use. but i should also mention that it is my belief that drugs only bring out underlying mental issues, not create new ones. i always felt this way before i started using drugs, but it got MUCH MUCH worse after i had been using for a while. cheers :)

pal, what I was meaning to say is you do not know what you get in your pills unless you test every single one... from my experience, it has affected me longterm as well as my "friends" around my town. i didnt say "mdma" i said "heavy e use" that could be neurologically damaging not to mention the highly likely possibility of users ingesting other drugs. either way dude, speaking from my experience and others i know, "e pills" will cause tremendous side effects.

^^

Well mdma = "e" or "xtc" or any of the other slang that is floating around.

When you say that "e pills are neurotoxic" then you are saying "mdma is neurotoxic". If you think that your issues have been caused by the cuts that were in your pills then say that.

900/730 = 1.23
1500/730 = 2.05

That's about a pill or two a day.. for two years.. crazy lol

well ive been doing E for over a year ive done a lot of drugs, but i havent been doing anything daily except for dro, but yeah at least every 2 weeks or 3 i drop 1 - 3 , the pills i get are pretty damn strong, pretty much all my pills are good, i jus want to know what are the long term affects. no technical terms plz if i carry on this habit.

thx

I had a period in my life where I did X once or twice a week for about 4-5 months. I swear it has seriously fucked my head up. depression, occasional apathy, all things I never had before. it sucks dude.

whether it was cut or not, i've never tested 1 single pill i've taken, although most of the time i "think i can tell", a slow roll should be mdma and speedy roll has been cut with meth and has had mdma. meth will definitely fry your brain. i mean i guess i'll just say "pills" have screwed me up in the head. and now when i take even just mdma by itself, i just don't like the way it makes me feel, unless i'm at a festival or a show. but even then it's unlikely. i guess i got burnt out on the stuff. i'd rather just eat some L.

ok so I'm 24 years old and I have been using mdma almost constantly since I turned 18. I didn't notice any negative affects until probably within the last year. My memory is terrible, I can watch a movie one day and then watch it again a few days later and its like the first time. Can't remember names of songs, people, movies ect that I've known for years. I forget almost everything. I have used many drugs in my life: pot, mdma, lsd, coke, crack, heroin, ghb (once), ketamine ect. I stopped smoking pot on a regular basis in 2003 due to my incarceration, so I know its not the pot.

I know it has to be due to the X

I also have epilepsy (diagnosed before drug use) which has gotten progressively worse. Don't know if I'm just so used to my meds that I go into withdrawl when I miss a dose and that causes a seizure or if the drugs have made me extra sensitive to them. Probably both.

I know I'm pretty dumb for continuing my drug use, but its just something about rolling that I love so much. I will continue to do it.

I am open to your criticism.
