Long term affects of E use

well ive been doing E for over a year ive done a lot of drugs, but i havent been doing anything daily except for dro, but yeah at least every 2 weeks or 3 i drop 1 - 3 , the pills i get are pretty damn strong, pretty much all my pills are good, i jus want to know what are the long term affects. no technical terms plz if i carry on this habit.

thx

At every 2-3 weeks, I wouldn't be surprised if you eventually found yourself a little irritable/emotionally unstable, perhaps some memory/concentration problems. For some people that frequency of use doesn't seem to be a problem, but for most dropping twice a month or long periods will likely catch up to them.

Dro? What's that? You mean marijuana? Cannabis? Then say so. The development of slang seems to be a race to the bottom of the intellectual barrel. It used to be 'hydroponic', then 'hydro', now 'dro'.... I suppose within another year punks trying to sound 'counterculture' or 'hip' will be reduced to grunting single letters.

I've eaten probably 200 pills within the past give or take...3 years?

Concentration problems, depression, occasional anxiety. Then again I've devoured a shit-ton of other drugs as well, including combo's with E and LSD, I could go on about it but I'm not going to. I think what fucks your head up most about E is the pills that have meth in them. That I can guarantee is true.

ive probably done about 150 pills in the last 2 and a half years and trust me i hate getting out of bed for work i leave it till the last minute wich means brekky and lunch are nearly always bought.
i have wicked come downs that last up to 3 days wich include stuttering tiredness lack of energy and irritability but i get over and become fine again.
on the other hand i take one look at my drug dealer and i know there is a long term effect as he is so fucked up

take e every week, usually 8 pills, have no problems at all
i dunno why but problems associated with mdma arent commen in my country, i actually have never heared of anyone getting those problems

well i get the comedown and brainzaps, but it aint that bad, nothing long term

Rofl..after all the fuckin meth I've smoked, snorted, eaten, hot-railed, or injected over the past 3yrs I barely even notice the long-term fallout from the MDMA I've used over the past 2yrs. I will admit that I have a mild-case of e-tardation for lack of a better term; but I find the effects to be endearing and somewhat humorous when held up against what meth has done to my mind.

I will choose becoming spacier, slower, more forgetful, and the periodic jaw-quivers that MDMA use causes me, over the self-loathing, all-encompassing hatred, severe depression, suicide-by-overdose attempts, constant intense cravings, physical deterioration, utter despair, and total defeat that my meth use has caused me.

The major effect for me would have to be that I've noticed my memory isnt like it was b4 rolling. I dont keep things in my head for long.

The only problem i really get is that i find im almost always living for the weekend... Everything else seems boring and shite.

The fact that you are getting "brain zaps" should be a pretty good indicator that something is happening inside of your body.

How can you be sure that there won't be more severe long term effects?

^I second that line of thought. I didn't notice anything early in my MDMA use; but recently I have noticed a small loss of memory, concentration, and intellectual efficiency. From my experience the long-term damage done by MDMA appears to grow with each time I 'fry' myself with a heavy dose of MDMA. It seems to me like each time I roll it's a drop in the bucket and now those drops are starting to add up.

I know what you are talking about. That isn't always a bad thing though. Sometimes, it helps me get through a tough week. I'm like that anyway though, mdma or not :D

i beeen doing E for just about 12 months now. and i have done about 100 or pills (rolling nearlly every weekend)
i notice no sideffects as of yet.
this may be because i also take heaps of 5-HTP, vitamin C and etc..
i also havent noticed a increase in tolerence, every time i roll, i roll just as hard.

I agree

ive been doing all types of drugs for the past 10 years or so.....i first used MDMA when i was 14 and wasnt that into the whole thing...from the age of 14-18 i probably ingested only about 20 or so pills...i stopped for a few years...(im 23 now) late last year, early this year i REALLY started getting into the club/rave scene while rolling and it felt like it consumed my life..i went every weekend for almost 3 months straight...6-8 pills/week.....ive kinda slowed down as ive only dropped twice in the past 2 months or so....ive noticed that my short term memory has pretty much gone to shit and after i do roll i end up feeling depressed for about a week or longer...i also catch myself slurring alot and sometimes can not complete sentences very well... I STILL LOVE ROLLING THO :)

The interesting thing is that all of us have felt this (the 2nd part of your paragraph), we all understand it, we understand the substantial negativity and yet we continue. We continue because we seem to love it enough.

Yeah really, and I hate to sound offensive but why the f*ck does someone want to go by TheDEA.org anyway?

...edit: ok I get it, the website and all, still kinda creeps me out...

Hmmmm, memory problems seem very common with long-term MDMA users. Just wondering, would there be any long term effects if you only roll once every 1-2 months? Because it seems like everyone with long term effects have been rolling every week.
