I was just wondering if anyone had any information on them, becaus ei know i DAMN sure havent felt the same sinc ei dropped amt. WHEW.
I heard the shit kills you in four years, which sounds unbelievably stupid, however, AMT is a research chemical, and you know.....
Also, everyone i have talked to has said they felt different after dropping this strange drug.
Fuck it whats done is done, i was just wondering if anyone had any info on it ( ive been to erowid) And how many other people have dropped it.
Peace.

Out of curiousity, did you get the information that AMT kills you in 4 years from a reliable source, or was it a bit of 'word on the street.' Sounds a bit far fetched to me bud...

dude i am going to transfer this over to other drugs because you will get a much more informed response over there.
good luck :)
CB :)

No, AMT will not kill you in 4 years. It was actually used by some prominent names in the psychedelic community in the 1960's. Many are still fine today.
As for feeling "different" afterwards... I've never heard anyone say anything remotely close to that before.
Other than feeling like I'd been ran over by a bus the next day, I didn't notice any other after-effects.

I didn't feel physically different after doing it, but I have never felt the same emotionally. I mean that in a good way. It changed my perspective of life because I looked at everything differently than I ever had before while on it...was that what you meant? Or are you having negative side affects?

^^ Thats interesting it emotionally changed you. It was nothing like that for me. I just felt like shit the next day and my jaw hurt from trying to eat my teeth. And i had the craps if that counts...

some seem to think AMT is a 'new' drug for some reason...

Alpha-methyltryptamine was studied in the 1960's by a couple pharmaceutical companies as a potential antidepressant for it's MAOI properties, along with AET. AET became
marketed by the Upjohn Company as Monase, but is now a Schedule 1 drug. AMT was available in the 60's in the Soviet Union in 5 and 10mg
tablets under the name of Indopan.

You would be surprised how the power of suggestion affects the mind. ESPECIALLY when involving psychedellic drugs.
In other words, if you think AMT has permanently "made you different," then for all intents and purposes, it minas well have, regardless of weather it actually did or not.

Scoff at me if you will, but I SINCERELY doubt that the chemical compound(s) being sold as AMT now are tha same as the ones used for patients in the 60's......WTF every single one of them would have been seeing pink Elephants if they double dosed..... Come on now .

^^ AMT is legal to purchase, therefor its not very likely to be unpure. Why would it be chemically changed? And if it was, they wouldnt call it AMT.
There is no need for people other than professional manufactures to make AMT when it can be bought completely pure.
atleast that makes sense to me..

Im saying what's on the streets now isnn't what was in Russia in the 60's. At least I don't think so.
I am by no means insulting your intelligence, you raise a vallid point about being able to order it "pure".
But what's to stop a dealer from fucking with it in the first place.

AMT is a compound that is always the same! AMT was the same thing in the 60's as it is now. And when you order AMT from a chemical supplier, you will very likely be getting just as pure if not purer AMT than what was doled out in the 60's. AMT shouldn't be bought "on the streets".

Uh yeah... Amt is the same as the chemical as they had for an anti-depressant. And you wouldn't trip if you double-dosed. Think about it. Most people probably got 5mg. I dont know if you ever did AMT but I need at least 20mg to feel the effects and make me 'trip'. And yes if you take a shitload of prozac it will kinda make you feel fucked up.

Whatever ya'll. Shit.

Umm That's not what he said. Hence the quotes around "the streets". He's saying you shouldn't be buying amt from a dealer. Just order it yourself. Then you know it's pure. Or get it from a close friend who ordered it and you can watch him weigh out a dose for you from the bottle. I have had pure amt before and I dont know why one would ever buy it from a dealer. Just seems kinda silly to me.

I've taken alot of AMT, probably more than I should have, and I noticed temporary 'medium' term side effects such as extreme lethargy, apathy, and just plain old indifference. After a while the indifference gave way to a rather peaceful feeling that I can still feel today if I concentrate. Maybe my brain is damaged, but its alot more peaceful than it was before ;)
