So yes I've search engined this (bluelight and google) and have found mostly speculation along with a couple of conflicting information on the matter.

Most of it i got in this thread: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/242658-Do-Not-Snort-Suboxone-No-Matter-What/page2

which is entitled "do not snort suboxone" (content in thread is misleading based on title)

Also on a pure tangent I also happened to learn that the first precursor and predecessor to suboxone was meant to be IV'd (Buprex), which makes me feel a little bit better about snorting it, if not purely arbitrary.

Anyways my question is this: Does anyone who knows any factual information on this matter or even any experience know if snorting sub can do damage long term? (permanent or otherwise)

I've been on sub for 2 years and would like to know how long I can keep this up, if not only to finish up my academic collegiate career.

I snorted subutex for a couple of years and it definitively messed with my lungs. It seems the cornstarch goes into your lungs when you snort it, no matter how careful you are not to inhale that stuff. That can't be good. The only sure way to remove all that would be to micron filter your pills and then let the solution dry out into crystal and snort that. It will be hard to measure out doses because 8 mgs is a very small amount of anything. You could get a milligram scale, or cut it with something safer to snort. I started injecting my tex about a year ago, first using micron filters. But when I ran out of micron filters I was hooked on injecting so I did the bets I could to filter it as much as I can...a couple months later I went to the ER for chest pains and got a chest x-ray, which luckily was clear. The doctor told me that snorting subs can be nearly as detrimental to your lungs as shooting them. Not sure if I believe that, but i suppose it could make sense. Hope this helps.

You can also use micron filters to make a solution you can snort. A 0.22um filter layer should remove all corn starch if you let the tabs dissolve properly.

The film strips don't have corn starch though, a lot of people are getting switched over. :)
