What, in the general opinion of my fellow Bluelight posters, is the longest lasting opiate high, when taken IV. I just started IV'ing last week, and I've tried 16mg Dilaudids (which I heard was all "Rush" and I agree with that assessment, awesome friggin rush for sure) tried black tar H twice (did just .1 the first night, but i kinda messed it up, i didn't get it all in one syringe cause I added too much water, still hadn't quite gotten the process down, and the next day, I did .1 in the morning and the last .1 at night, getting all of it in one syringe both times lol, and that was a good rush, but there was also an awesome opiate high, it was some really good stuff from what i was told, and it definitely felt like quality stuff to me, and that lasted a good hour or two of a major high, but I felt it a lil bit for the remainder of the night) and then yesterday and today I did some 60mg MS.Contins (which i figured would not only have a good rush but the high would actually last, since when i take morphine orally (I am prescribe 2x 60mg Morphine Sulfate Kadians per day, with 4 x 30mg Oxycodones per day for breakthrough pain), it seems to last a few hours, figured it wouldn't last as long when IV'd, but I thought it would last for a least an hour or so, but after the rush was gone, which it was one hell of a rush, made my head kind throb for a sec which was weird, but after that was gone, i just felt a subtle high for like 20-30min, i just did the 2nd one about 45min ago, and I only slightly feel it now) So that's my experience so far. From everyone else's experiences, what would you say, out of all opiates that can be IV'd, has the longest lasting high after the initial "Rush" ?

This is not OD material. It's far too subjective and it reads like a blog post.

Longer half life = (generally) more lipophilic = less "rush" upon onset.

this explains why e.g. fentanyl, hydromorphone etc are "rushy" versus methadone being ... not. I think methadone and the morphanols (levomorphanol) are the longest acting opiates still in regular usage. It's a tradeoff between rush and duration.
