long ago before MDMA was placed as a Schedule 1 drug

Hey people, I would like to know if there is anyone out there who was taking ecstasy in nightclubs in dallas (or anywhere else) before the drug was banned, or anyone who was taking the drug for a therapeutic benefits. Would just like to know what the scene was like.. Where there a lot of people doing it? What was it like having it dispensed in a club? What was the experience like taking this new drug for the first time? ...

I dont expect to get many (if any) responses so if anyone knows of anyone who was in this scene like parents or other family members, what are there thoughts...

There's a lot of really interesting testimony from doctors that were using therapuetically before it was scheduled. I doubt many people on here would have been part of the scene before that, especially just in Dallas. All I can say is I've just recently learned that it's better to do a little and ride the therapuetic effects rather than just munt your face off.

Last weekend, my girlfriend and I took a point each, worked out every single little problem in our relationship with a self moderated 6 hour discussion. It's now 3 days later and instead of a comedown I've been more in love than I could imagine.

When it was just purchaseable at nightclubs,
that was a bad idea really because people can redose all night easily then,
and thats not good for them at all.

Therapeutically though it is really really good,
Like i rolled with my mates on sunday night,
i only took 80mg (but for some that would be more like 120mg) as i do my diet and shizz

But i was really able to say deep shit, as was they,
I think that the low doses are great for exactly that,

But sometimes people just want to enjoy themselves, (like myself)
and ill neck a 150mg capsule and just be drowning in euphoria, pinned to a wall or a post, as i cant stand up without some support lol.
 
That's really good to hear tangerin, glad to hear that you were able to sort out those issues. It's exactly what I need for my relationship with my girlfriend, but unfortunately being in crappy Melbourne I have no access to MDMA which really pisses me off. After reading so many experiences with MDMA being used therapeutically and having such success, it's just bullshit that I can't go to a psychologist with my girlfriend and take a therapeutic dose and sort out all of our problems. Those barriers just can't be taken down normally, no matter how much you try. Hopefully in the near future there will be some decriminalization of MDMA so that people can sort there personal problems out. Divorce rates will drop to 0%

I completely agree. When I did have access to MDMA I would never really over indulge, thus being able to say whatever was on my mind with my mates. Completely able to let go. Don't get me wrong, being munted is alot of fun if your looking for that but the otherwise of the drug works wonders.
 
I have a couple friends over 40 who have had MDMA when it was legal, and just like those of us who have only known it to be illegal- they also managed to abuse it during a "honeymoon" period, and found they had some damage for a while, and also talk about "losing the magic" even back then.

When ever a drug becomes illegal, quality goes way down- that does not mean that you won't be able to come across some good, pure MDMA every now and then. It's the sort of drug that is best appreciated when it's a novel, occasional experience anyway- I come across legitimate pure crystal MDMA 1-2x a year, and I do my best to save it for special occasions with close friends. I would do the same if it was completely legal and readily available.

My dad did MDA back when it was legal, and thought it was a bit better of an experience than the pure MDMA he tried with us 2 years ago. I also keep in mind, he was very young when he did MDA and part of the amazement with that experience might be attributed to age.
 
^^ the young factor would probably have a lot to do with it I agree.

I dont even see it once a year. I only saw it earlier this year when I went overseas to the netherlands and germany. Pretty much does not exist for me. I regret the days that it was available and I didn't buy in bulk.

Its cool to think though that it was once very legal and so readily available.
 
Bsiren, your old man is like me, having tried both drugs I find that MDA>>>>MDMA.

Not playing down MDMA at all, it really is a magical substance but MDA caters to my need better, as you sai the age is a factor in the experience, and being a young guy who enjoys going out and partying all night, MDA gives me the energy I need.
 
MDA is like a candyflip in one drug. Friggin awesome flowing visuals and huge euphoria that comes in waves. Tsunamis of euphoria, actually. The absolute best roll I've ever had was on merely 100mg of MDA with no redose. My girl and I danced for literally about 3 or 4 hours straight without even realizing it, tearing each other apart on the dance floor.

Now, my quest is to recreate a similar experience with 100% natural and non-toxic sources. So far I'm having success!!
 
@wombus Im sorry to hear Melb is sucking in the MD department...but give it time and it will pick back up. Being there through some of the drought I understand how frustrating it is not being able to get any...but once you have it again it makes it all the waiting worth it...
 
@Seattle Agree with you there...the first (and only) time i had an MDMA/MDA combo pill I only had one and I was proper faced...I want that feeling again

yeah i know 3 years and counting :( but i am sure there will be a massive amount some time in the future.

^^I have had mda in a couple of pills and i do like the visuals, but it seems to me as just a constant feeling without actually peaking a rushing which I love about mdma. A combo no doubt would be very nice. very nice indeed!
 
OP, It blew up with a priest in DFW that used it for group therapy sessions. It was at one time, sold openly in clubs and was as common as tap water. :\
 
The combos are always amazing....my friends from home say its picking up slightly but its still hard to find trusted sources....but yeah I have no doubt Melb with be flooded... especially if the surrounding cities are doing well....
 
Point my dog in the direction of natural n non toxic. All my dogs find are stuff that should be used to remove rust from motorcycles.
