It didn't make me chuckle, it made me want to cry.

I'd sooner have my little sister slam heroin or smoke crack than do duster like that chick was doing.

I saw it. Very disturbing, possibly the most disturbing intervention ever. She looked totally adorable and much healthier when they showed her a few months later. I'm amazed her brain still works. She will probably be pretty embarressed about that show. :\

My opinion? If you want to get addicted to something, get addicted to something worthwhile.

Some of the comments on that Youtube are hilarious.

i've huffed shit like that before. It feels really gfood

I dunno how the fuck you get addicted to a shitty drug like that though.

^
Right. I don't know how you could enjoy a shitty drug like that so damn much...

At least she stopped using. I wonder what she'll do when she discovers the main drugs; coke/crack, dope, methamphetamine, etc.

It is the only intervention where I laughed my ass off. I usually feel sorry for the people like the mother whose husband died and she became a horrible alcoholic. This chick was so fried and then she'd huff some more duster and look at the camera with that fried stare.

OK, this was a pretty intense and emotional show.

That said, when her mom asks her how much duster she has, if that's all she has or is there more(which any addict knows the answer is "this is the last")..

"your mom"

I'm sorry but that made me laugh out loud.

why are we even calling duster a drug? It has no action on any receptor. If ur gonna huff an inhalant, do some nitrous balloons...at least its fun and worth while:\

^^^In most places duster is cheaper and easier to obtain than nitrous cartridges

it has to have action to alter consciousness. it's a drug.

anyway, i was gonna make a thread about this episode but i was hoping someone else would because i already made an intervention thread. i taped the episode because i wanted to be able to fast forward through the commercials and i haven't gotten around to watching the whole thing yet but i saw the beginning and it's hard for me to believe it's real.

i mean, i just can't believe that someone would be hooked on duster and JUST DUSTER. i mean from what i saw, she didn't even smoke weed or drink alcohol or use any type of other drug at all (maybe she does later in the episode, i don't know, sorry if this comment is premature) but i just find it hard to believe someone could be hooked on duster and not like any other drugs. and it said her boyfriend introduced her to duster in college, obviously she would have been able to find connections for other drugs in college, even if it was just alcohol or weed.

Ive never researched how it works, but It is similar to alcohol. The proellant in it contais the word ethyl and it makes you regster on a breathalyzer.

Some one should of offered her heroin. She would have been better off.
