How did you become a convicted felon?
Did a doctor realize that you visited many doctors?
Did you get caught red-handed with a fake script?

Sorry to be so nosy, but I am curious.
I wrote bad scripts.

I feel bad for prople in chronic pain but why do you guys blame honest working ppl who just so happen to do drugs for the drug conrol problems, blame the dea who locks the docs up thats why they dont prescribe not cause I might get ahold of an OC. I think people justify the difference between going to the pharmacy to get dope and going to the corner to buy a bag. Just my opinion,

Are you a motivational speaker in real life? I feel so good that I am skipping my afternoon dose of OXY.

I'm not a motivational speaker. I just know where to go.

having a large circle of friends helps... everyone has their own issues and medications to deal with 'em. 1 friend of mine has some ancient old doctor that gives him 90 5mg valiums, 90 1mg xanax, 180 20mg adderall, and 6 refills of hydrocodone syrup all at once. Also, sometimes the old guy gives him percocets if he says he has kidney pain.

That's an old doctor though.. and he isn't taking advantage of the guy... the doctor is just that way.

Rant

I'm sick of all these new wave drug takers who snort some charlie, smoke some hash wear a cap, stand in groups and yell at scantily clad woman who are on there way back from or to a night out. These people are ruining the image of the peaceful pot smoker or zoned out tripper, they are a danger to our culture. They are a sub culture of the underground drugs scene, The live by the same philosophical hypothesis as American gangsta rappers. The same rappers who carefully create a fake persona in order to sell music to this type of miscreant. I';m not trying to demonise certain drugs or articles of clothing, It is a mind set that I am trying to make a stand against. This isn't your 'drug taking but still a good person ' kinda guy, but the kind who follows the examples of others around them to create a culture of violence and yobbishness that is now being closely related to the drugs scene and shouldn't be. I've heard (and spouted) pro drug propaganda which usually concerns the cause of this sort of behaviour being the fault of substances being illegal, therefore creating a black market into which 'Hardcore violent criminals' are being attracted due to the demand for the substance and the money to be made. In reality all that organized crime does for drugs is step up the weight and lower the quality. WE SHOULD BE OPPOSING THIS!!! I mean, can we expell this type of yobbish behaviour simply by extinguishing their influences. Don't get me wrong, I like hip hop, I just prefer it when it doesn't involve selling drugs to kids and raping hoes. Can we be rid of this influence through self sufficiency? How bout this, instead of buying low grade products off materialistic wankers, grow your own weed, extract your own opiates and alkaloids, synthesis your own chemicals. It's not as difficult as you think it may be.

Difficult? How about time consuming?

We can sit here and debate who deserves the blame all day...crooked docs, doc shopper, government. Truth is everyone deserves some of the blame. It all comes down to the fact that each individual person making certain decisions knows the difference between right and wrong.

The kid going into a clinic faking pain knows that's morally wrong. The doc who knows the kid is faking it, but dosen't have to see X-rays or the first three visits writes him a script anyway. So you can't single out specifically who's to blame for it all.

Our culture? thats not my fucking culture, and I would like if that culture died in a fire. I do meth and ride a crotch rocket at 270km down the highway. Yeah, its not "our" culture, its your culture, and it a culture I want no part of, so dont tell me I am killing it, cause that will jsut encourage me to kill it more.

and regarding synthesis of your own chemicals...some can be done resonably with a bit of a chem background and a few 100 bucks of equipment, some are much mroe difficult and beyond the abilites of even a chem grad, sicne the equipment and supplies are tricky.

and guess what, not everyone is a chemist, nor a gardiner.

i would never gamble because i hate the idea of potentially losing money that could be going towards drugs.

also i have an addictive personality so why risk trying gambling?

i dont think its morally wrong to go to a clinic faking pain. i think it is a bad thing to do because it makes legitimate patients unable to get their medicine, but i dont think its a moral issue. a lot of times the fakers are good people who just have an addiction. im sure a lot of people on here have been sick, or not sick even, and went to a dr and faked pain.

i think it is wrong for the government to regulate pain medicine how they do so drs are reluctant to give it out to people who really need it.

So wait, you don't consider LYING to be morally wrong?? Then, what would actually constitude this in your opinion??

Well, I think it you did a survey of most people with chronic pain, the higher % would be people over a certain age. When certain parts of the body start to detoriate and such. I didn't say age was the ULTIMATE DETERMING FACTOR on whether you should get meds, just stating the obvious. Cool out
