NEWS: Laser Show Blinds Ravers.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Dozens of partygoers at an outdoor rave near Moscow last week have lost partial vision after a laser light show burned their retinas, Russian health officials said on Monday.

Moscow city health department officials confirmed 12 cases of laser-blindness at the Central Ophthalmological Clinic, and daily newspaper Kommersant said another 17 were registered at City Hospital 32 in the centre of the capital.

Attendees at the July 5 Aquamarine Open Air Festival in Kirzhach, 80 km (50 miles) northeast of Moscow, began seeking medical help days after the show, complaining of eye and vision problems, health officials told Reuters.

"They all have retinal burns, scarring is visible on them. Loss of vision in individual cases is as high as 80 percent, and regaining it is already impossible," Kommersant quoted a treating ophthalmologist as saying.

Attendees said heavy rains forced organisers to erect massive tents for the all-night dance party, and lasers that normally illuminate upwards into the sky were instead partially refracted into the ravers' eyes.

"I immediately had a spot like when you stare into the sun," rave-attendee Dmitry told Kommersant.

"After three days I decided to go to the hospital. They examined me, asked if I had been at Open Air, and then put me straight in the hospital. I didn't even get to go home and get my stuff," he said.

Cosmic Connection, promoters of the Aquamarine rave, were unreachable and did not list contact numbers on their Web site.

Industry Web site www.laserfx.com said focused laser light can cause eye damage almost instantly.

I don't "score" from doctors either.

When I had my impacted wisdom teeth (all 4 of them) out 5mg of hydrocodone felt really good and when I was younger and I took ADD meds 5-10mg of Ritilian/Adderall was alright and when I was badly depressed/having daily panic attacks, 25mg of zoloft was very helpful and the same goes for 10mg of lexapro when I was badly depressed.
 
i have scored dexedrine, and ritalin in my days as a youth. my doctor gave me lorazepam 0.5 4x day. i was given methadone 10mg tabs 3x day post heroin withdrawl while i was on the waiting list to get methadone in a clinic....hmm umm oh yeah i was given ambien 10mg for sleep also in addition with the methadone for my heroin withdrawls. um....when i was in detox they gave me 25mg methadone and 10mg valium for withdrawl....um i got my wisdom teeth out they gave me darvocet, then i had a dry socket and another doctor gave me hydrocodone for the pain 5mg. what else...oh yeah Fiorinal for headaches which im currently on...love dem things!

Yeah I agree with that.

There is a bunch of songs that as soon as they come on I think of heroin or oxy etc..

There are some songs I cant listen to cause it just clicks somewhere in me that I want to to go get messed up. I use to listen to a certain CD when I went to go get stuff and I cant do that anymore.
 
Well, the song Heroin by Velvet Underground automaticaly makes me think of heroin. Dunno why:/.

Good pumping electronic makes me think of DXM.

Steve Reich's Music For 18 Musicians reminds me of Salvia divinorum.

Debussy's Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune and his one string quartet (might as well include the similar one that Ravel wrote too) make me think of chartreuse.

Pelt's Ayahuasca and anything by the Master Musicians of Jajouka/Joujouka remind me of kif.

Arvo Pärt's Fratres and Tabula Rasa make me think of both kratom and opium.

When I was really in my addiction full swing I was getting a lot of Oxycontin 80mg tablets and a lot of 10 mg Valium.

Just because a doctor prescribes something doesn't mean you're not addicted to it. I mean, you can need something and still go overboard with it.

It could be novocaine or lidocaine or something like that.
 
I used to get 60 percs at a time from my nephrologist for kidney stones, refills whenever I asked. He died a fw months ago, that sucked but i still have a pretty good Dr now, and still have kidney stones, she keeps me comfortable with percs and vics as needed. I'm sure if I didn't have the x-rays and bloody urine to prove it I wouldn't have such an easy time getting meds but that is hard evidence you can't ignore.
I also got a dilaudid shot for the first time at the ER a few weeks ago - I thought it was really good for a the first few minutes but it wore off fast.
I had IV fent when I was in labor and my epi failed, until I had to push, that was good and the nubain they gave me for labor too was my favorite ever.

This happened to me, I feel for you.
My old friend couldn't handle the pressure of his parents, he could have gotten away with it, but I and my other friends get in trouble, too.
I hate snitches.
 
I don't really see a point to this thread. PM one of the mods or me if you want to reword it, like say "ever been snitched on stories."

But im fucking wasted... did like a gram already and got 2 grams to go.. fuck yeah!
WOOO my head is spinning like a top and it doesnt seem to be losing balance... yeah fuck yeah... i feel good. :D
