"Local" Pills vs. "Import" Pills

I wouldn't go that far.. they could do it somehow, make it permit only and somehow enforce how much people take. Somehow limit supply and require a license to take...

a couple of years ago in Melbourne after new years eve a high ranking policeman was quoted as saying the reason for the record low of violent incidents was because everyone was on ecstasy. Go figure...

Many years ago you could only get Zovirax for a cold sore if you went onto a herpes list. Of course no one wanted to be associated with a STD so didn't bother and just found a friendly GP to dispense it without all the fucking around. The same thing would happen for your MDMA license. Anyone who actually had a job or didn't want their insurance premiums to sky rocket ( that's if they would even cover you in the first place ) would simply get their gear from a black market without all the fuck around. How would that be any different than today other than dealers having a better source to steal/ obtain their shit from?

I would've thought that If the legal/government made/taxed mdma pills were available it would force the illegal networks to produce pills that were as good if not better than what the govt are selling? Wouldn't it drive quality upwards? Also, there is interesting stuff happening with therepeutic MDMA use for post traumatic stress disorder. We all know how much MDMA breaks down communication barriers and allows you to share your innermost feelings and thoughts - my suggestion of legalising ecstasy is silly, but I do think it could be a REALLY powerfull counselling tool if used correctly. If they got the post and pre load worked out to minimise any toxicity/comedown and screened patients for any predisposition to harm such as mental illness, did it all by the book, i think it would be incredible. I look forward to seeing what science and medicine do with this amazing substance.

lol, what difference does the term make if the only people using it are people who have no clue where the fuck the pill was made? the machinery used and how that could effect the press.

Fact is very few pills are pressed out of the country because it's very hard to ship bulk amounts of pills through customs without raising eyebrows somewhere.

We could speculate for years on where our pills came from, but it would still provide no conclusive proof of where they were made in any case.

From someone who has been in the scene for a long time (not bragging, just stating a fact) - yeah the only good mdma pills are those that are imported mostly from either asia or europe. I do know of some batches of good pills that were 'cooked' and pressed here, proven by the fact that every now and again labs get busted with large amounts of safrole (necessary ingredient to make MDMA).

Don't know about everyone else, but when we refer to things as being 'local' and 'import'. We actually refer to them as being that.
Calling them that for any other reason is a bit silly IMO.

x2. From my knowledge, almost all of the recent mdma listings on PR are local(surprisingly), bar possibly a couple of the very clean presses.

Pretty sure ALL of the recent MDMA pills that have been floating around are home grown. If any of them did come from overseas.. then fuck... I would've thought they would've been a lot more stronger! What were even the last confirmed imports into Australia?.. Also just out of curiosity.. anybody remember the Green Elephants that apparently made their way here? What was the final verdict on that..?

Alright I feel like this question has been pretty well answered. There is no sense in speculating where the pills are coming from nowadays, as far as I am aware these expressions are no longer used commonly and they were common in a time when MDMA pills were more likely to be imported than they are today.
