The food at neptune's net isn't that great(over priced), awesome location though right on county line.

The best food here is defently mexican. but what else is there in SoCal.

This thread just made me really hungry. Roscoes Chicken and Waffles is awesome. Paprikash is even more awesome!

I have no idea what food is good around here in SW CT. If I brought someone to my home in Philly, of course we would go get a cheesesteak, a hoagie or maybe even a cheesesteak hoagie. Then we would have a gelati from Rita's Water Ice for dessert!
 
I found a place that serves etoufee I'm gonna eat it soon and I'll report back with conclusive results!

Ask if they can give you a sample first. Most places will, I've found.

what about the yummy pretzels you always have?

i can't believe in my first post i didn't mention swenson's, its a burger place where you order from your car. everything is made fresh, and its super yummy and cheap. and they serve cherry phosphates.

if you have money to spend, or like to eat random parts of animals, i recommend lola or lolita. the head chef at both restaurants is the newest iron chef on the food network. he claims that adding bacon/fat and salt can make anything taste good. and i tend to agree :)

if you want some local breweries, i suggest buckeye beer engine or great lakes brewery.

Mm....nothing. It all blows around here. There's a restaurant called the Fifth Season in North Jackson, Ohio. I met the owner and did a mentorship at the culinary school he graduated from, they have a good menu and the restaurant looks great inside and out...decent prices for the upclass atmosphere and menu too...

ayo even if you learn it late at least ya know now. its a good method of doin shit. cookin w/bacon grease is good when u save it and use it as the shit to get the bottom of the pan all good..yea...iunno that word...but u kno...when u put somethin like shortenin or lard or butter or bacon grease on the bottom so it dont stick. That. been doin that for yrs its the best. esp. when ur cookin breakfast.
