I'm not sure whats going on. Over the last month, I have used hydrocodone about 3 times with at least a weeks worth of time in between. The hydros that I had were 10/650...the first two times I only took 15/975...but this past weekend I took 20/1300...

Ever since Sunday night I have been having dull, aching pain in my upper right abdomen...directly where they say liver pain occurs. Its hard for me to imagine that 1300 mg apap would cause this but I think its bizarre how the symptom popped up right away. I've been trying to figure out possible reasons for why the apap could have set off some type of damage: I was on doxycycline for 6 days about a week before I took the hydros. Tetracyclines like doxy are known to be hard on the liver.

I dont think I have major damage, as I have no jaundice or any other symptoms. But I dont know. Has anybody had this happen before?

Have you heard of Cold Water Extractions?
I have. I tried one once and it didn't work. So I have been hesitant to waste pills on it again. However after this incident its becoming crucial that I learn how to do it well.

I have a friend who's doing the exact same thing that you are doing and describing the same exact pain. I know it has to be the APAP.

Learn how to CWE, it's like riding a bike, once you learn, you never forget. I always found it easier to use a 60ml syringe with cotton or filter paper pushed at the bottom opposed to having the coffee filters get clogged and take forever to drain.

I figured it has to be. Do you think if I had done major damage I would be having more serious symptoms like jaundice, ect ?

^ I'm not a doctor, so I really don't know, but I think jaundice comes in a very late stage of APAP poisoning. You do realize there's very little a doctor can do once you overdose on APAP right? It's a slow and painful death.

I am aware. Thanks for the encouragement.
