Hi guys.... it's been a long time since I have written anything substantial...I used to post my work here all the time and this is the first thing I have written in a while... I hope it's up to scratch...it is called:

Live a selfless life... not a lifeless self.

You spend all your being, looking for meaning,
The answer is now, just go with the feeling,
All desperately trying to be somebody else,
You are all somebody! You are your self!
It's all the same, this infinite game,
Stop looking and searching for someone to blame...
Wake up! Wake up! Wake up from your dreams!
And see the world as I see it, the world as it seems.
I wish you could see, your problems are free,
We all share this condition, not just you and me,
We're all thrust into this life, without even a clue,
What yearns inside me also yearns inside you.
Do you not realise what you have is real?
To smell, to taste, to breath and to feel!
How dare you not see it! how dare you not know!
That this life is a gift, just go with the flow.
I have tea for two and the sky is blue,
I am me... and you are most certainly you,
Why can you not see all that abounds?
Look up, look down, look around and around!
Look into the sky, lose yourself and fly,
Start living and breathing and stop asking why?
Smell the damned roses, they smell damned good!
I wish you would smell them! I wish that you could!
Open wide your eyes and open wider your mind,
Leave the yesterdays and tommorows behind,
All that should matter now, is exactly that...
The right now, the moment, please never look back.
Just watch the world grow, and know that you know.
Know that you dont have to put on a show.

Just live for right now, and live just for you.
