Thanks for your time to read this i'll put a bit of background so you know my experience ETC.
I used to take a lot of cocaine but kicked that habit four years ago (apart from one relapse a week ago that I vow never to repeat). I recently acquired a 1/4oz (7gm) of what I was told is "base speed" as I am living in the UK I don't think this term referers to freebase like crack or crystal meth but is rather used as a term to describe the quality? please let me know this aswell.
anyway the substance was white and pastey and smelt like cats wee, which I have heard is all good signs of good product.
I started off this morning with a tiny allergy test which was fine so an hour later I parachuted in a rizzla 0.2g or 200mg. I then had to go collecting catalogues and I didn't notice much effect apart from maybe slightly higher heart rate, bearing in mind I was running up and down garden paths this could of ben placebo.
anyway throughout the day I have taken at least a further 3g and at one point snorted a line as thick as a pencil.
I know UK speed isn't that strong but my friends who have taken from the same batch report being "off there faces loving it" I just got off the phone with one of them
I do have a elevated heart rate and I do feel alert, I haven't taken speed since I was 12 (apart from the inevitable cocaine cut) when I thought it was the best thing on earth but I was expecting some cocaine like feelings, was I wanting too much from this drug? like I said I feel very alert, might go and do some tidying up in a minute but I have no euphoria at all no feel good feelings, I don't feel intoxicated or out of balance I just I don't feel tired (which I guess is nice as i've two young children so don't get much sleep lately)
Is it just that speed gives no euphoria? because if so I can't see why people would use recreationally. The only use I can see for this is to put in your coffee before work if your really really tired!
Is it just me or was I expecting too much? maybe if I hadn't had the loveliness of cocaine before I might find this a much more interesting experience
