Lithium Orotate & MDMA

I'm currently taking 6mg of Lithium Orotate daily as a supplement. Does anyone know if there are any weird interactions that I should know about with MDMA?
If so, would I want to skip a day of Lithium Orotate if I am going to roll?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
if that is the case Zz, then i think if you're going to roll you should probably hold off on it for a day or two

Ok, cause I know Lithium Orotate isn't something that will cause severe withdraws or anything if I skip a dose or two. So simply not taking it a couple days before rolling would be sufficient?

My concern is having to stop a month before rolling like being on SSRIs in order to even be able to roll. That isn't the case though with Lithium Orotate?
 
Just trying to bring this back, does anyone know if taking Lithium Orotate daily will result in problems with rolling similar to what happens with SSRI's? Thanks
 
Well, Lithium Orotate does make your Kidney work alot, and so is MDMA

That's an increased risk for Kidney failure.

There is evidence of Kidney problems associated to MDMA, mostly rhabdomyolysism wich is severe and possibly lethal if not taken care of quick enough.

I'm sorry DaftPunkFan but its all I could find. Harm reduction principles would dictate not to take the 2

Alright thank you. I would be skipping a couple days of the Lithium if I were rolling, so I wouldn't be taking the two together, but I know what you mean. I'm just wondering if there would be any weird effects like not being able to roll due to taking Lithium daily.
 
sorry about bringing up this thread, but how did you feel when you did this? are you OK?

I stopped taking the Lithium about 2 weeks prior to rolling, and I was fine. From what I could find, you definitely shouldn't roll while still taking it.;)

Nice to hear everything went well.

Did stopping the Lithium for 2 weeks had a great impact on the symptoms for wich you take it in the first place?

Eh, not really. I can't say it did a whole lot for me when I was on it, so I stopped taking it for good after the roll. I started up St. Johns Wort after that, which I think is working better ;)
 
Lithium sucks so much :( If you have bipolar I would suggest lamictal. After the titration the drug side effects dissapeared for me and it works a hell of alot better than lithium.

And most importantly dosen't cause any issues with taking drugs <3

ok good to hear, i was having an argument with someone on another forum about rolling while taking Lithium and he had a really bad roll. I told him that was the reason but he wouldnt believe me 8)
 
Surely that by taking mdma your only exacerbating the reason why your on lithium in the first place? Just wondering?
