Opioids Literally TRIPPING on Methadone

Like it has been said 100mg is quite a high dose for methadone, wikipedia says the lethal dose is 50mg without a tolerance though I'm guessing you have a pretty high one. I know a symptom of opiate OD(not necessarily life threatening levels) is hallucinations so that would be my guess as to the cause of you tripping. The gabapentin most likely added to the overall experience as well. For the sake of harm reduction I wouldn't recommend trying this regularly, there are much better ways to trip, but best of luck and be safe.

I take 100mg everyday, been doing so for 4 years. I would need 500mg to catch a fucking nod.

You fuckers be careful combining Methadone with Benzos and Gabapentin. Recently some fucking guy at the clinic I go to was found dead in his car. He took 120mg of Methadone with a high dose of Gabapentin and some Xanax, passed out and never woke up.

I read one of the isomers in racemic methadone is responsible for the NMDA antagonism? Does anyone notice methadone to be a more effective antidepressant than their normal DOC opiate? Isn't there a form of methadone in Germany that has only one isomer? Does it have no NMDA antagonist effects? Do other opiates have NMDA antagonist properties, but perhaps less strong? I ask because I experienced a strong antidepressant effect from Hydrocodone after taking it continuously(prescribed for pain) for several days. The typical knee-jerk dumbfuck reply(even some on BL, unfortunately) is that "of course you felt better, you were high". But I still think there was more to it because other opiates(pod tea, codeine, buprenorphine) seemed to have little to no AD effect. Kratom has a mild, short lasting AD effect for me. Could this effect contribute to the addictive qualities of opiates in some people, and could some be actually "chasing" this, doing much more of a low NMDA antagonist opiate because it feels less satisfying? I am curious what your experienced multi-opiate users' opinions are.

Off topic: Has the type on BL become really small the past week or so? Or did I do something to make it that way? For me, it's only this site.

The shit sucks period unless your using it to hold you from dying the slow death of heroin...even using it for chronic pain it will eventually start giving you mental/physical problems comparing it to other full pain agonists.
