i always thought grapefruit jucie was only good for opiates and alcohol (i think) but then read about benzos and amphetamines? is this true and what else does it potentiate!

while im at it does baking soda really help amphetamine absorb better? since it helps amphetamine, im led to believe it may help other drugs...anyone can tell me which ones?

So it doesnt work with amphetamines then?

"Note: there may be omissions on this list. Absence of a drug
does not necessarily indicate that the drug lacks this potential
interaction."

You mean OJ potentiates amph? Can you post source of this information? I've never heard of anything that OJ contains that could interfere with any of the P450.

Oh and by the way, as far as recreational drugs there are only 2 things that can be potentiated.
Grapefruit Juice + Valium
Baking Soda + Adderall/Dexedrine/basically amphetamine and so probably MDMA too.

Maybe I can help with this one.

OJ contains Vitamin C, which in some cases with some drugs does indeed potentiate them for reasons unbeknownst to myself. But it is, in fact, true.

Yes, taking baking soda (half a tsp) 15 mins before taking any kind of amphetamine - will speed up its coming up and theoretically should prolong the effects. (it does indeed rapidly works, although as for the duration - that's hard to figure out). I've got scientific pages on that, but I'll just say that the more alkaline the stomach is - the better the absorbtion of amphetamines. To make the stomach alkaline - use baking soda.

^Wouldn't that only work with eaten amphetamines? How would baking soda affect other forms of taking it.
