Sometimes when i am sober and take a shot or two of liquor (80 proof), my face gets really flushed and red. So i stop drinking.

And sometimes across my body i'll have blotchy areas of red, usually across my chest. It's a weird feeling. Not pleasant. Usually I just take a tylenol and that relieves it somewhat (i know, liver destruction).

I'm 28 and have been drinking recreationally since i was 18. Nothing over the top, just 1-2 a week or so. Anybody else ever get this?

the rash could be an alllergic reaction.
have you asked your doctor about this?

don't really have a doctor. it only happens maybe once out of 20 times or so.

This seems to come and go for me, but it has been happening every time I drink recently........I have also been drinking pretty heavy for the last 6 months, maybe it is a way of your body trying to say you need to cut back.....but idk, it can be pretty annoying. For me it is only bad after the first few drinks I have, after that I feel good.

Sounds to me like an alcohol flush. It's just your body's reaction to drinking a solvent.
