Liquis Methadone?

I just got a bottle of 110ml of liquid methadone and was wondering what the dosage to oxy is? I just took 160mgs of oxy last night and was wondering what do you think would be a reasonable amount of the methadone liquid?


To add i also took 4mg of xanax with the 160mgs of oxy and was amazing. Could i take xanax with the methadone?

By my calculations the dosage of methadone equivalent to 160mgs of oxycodone is : -

160mg oral oxycodone = 24mg oral methadone

So you should be able to dose that no problem. Xanax can be combined with methadone, HOWEVER, there is a high risk of respiratory depression so it is not advisable for harm reduction purposes.

Most ODs involving Methadone seem to involve a benzo as well. At my clinic if you give a dirty urine for benzos they fucking go nuts because of the high risk of serious respiratory depression. Now personally, I take 75mg a day and have combined benzos with it numerous times with no real issue. not recommended though. Methadone also takes a loong time to kick in so dont take some then take more an hour later because you don't feel it, could end up being bad news.

leave the xanax out brotha. I dont care how much opios you take and how tolerant you are done is way different and isnt an instant 1 2 3 ----its working type drug. It lasts forever and when I first started in MMT and was really wanting to get help i lowered my valium dose and even at only 10mgs a day I would get the shallllowest breathing sometimes. I would get scared and nod like I was on fent. but its your body adjusting to the dose. its pretty normal. I dunno. I think you should continue to oc if you dont really wanna get clean but if you must just take 15mgs and see how you are in 4 hours....2 hours youll feel it, 4 youll know, 6 youll know more. just leave the xanax out
 
Thanks everyone. i know it varies for everyone and it is impossible to get an exact answer but if you could guess how long should i wait after taking the original first dose and re doseing. I ask this because I have heard it takes a little while to kick in and i dont want to do something stupid and take a large amount and you know die. I was thinking i would take 24ml to start and then if it doesnt get me I would take more but as I previously stated How long would a good time frame be to wait from dose to dose. Also for you who ever how long does it generally take to kick in and should I take it on an empty stomach or eat light?
 
When I first started MMT, I would still get a decent buzz from methadone. Now, I do not. But back then, if I were sick when I took my dose, I would notice relief starting about 30-45 minutes after ingesting, and then it would slowly slowly increase in effects until t+2.5 hours or so after ingestion. Then it would plateau into a nice high for a good part of the day.

As for re-dosing, in your case, to be safe, I would wait a solid 4-5 hours atleast before you take more. Also, keep in mind it has a LONG half life so even taking another dose say 24 hours later, you may not be high at that point still, but the meth will still build up in your system which can cause problems to the non-tolerant.

If you play it safe you should be just fine. As for eating, I typically take my dose early in the morning (6-7am), then I will eat a small breakfast maybe an hour after dosing. I have taken my dose on a full stomach before and while it diminished the effects a a bit initially, it still faded into that nice glow a few hours down the road.

24mg of Methadone is going to be low but it is a safe dose. Its best to start low, even though you may not feel that high. Opioid conversion charts used by Morphiod are not good in calculating doses of Methadone. I have 3 of them and they all provide different answers. Personally, for someone taking 160mg of oxycodone daily I think you could take 30mg. Don't take anymore than that. I suppose you could take more but again, just to be safe. But remember two rules: DON'T REDOSE. DON'T TAKE BENZOS
 
I always have a hard time believing these online methadone to whatever opiate conversion charts.

Personally, I do not think 24mg of Methadone is going to equate to 160mg of oxycodone. I would think it would be more like 50mg of Methadone = 160mg.

However if this is your first time, I would suggest sticking with 25mg of methadone. Also, it can be a bitch to measure out an accurate dose with liquid methadone. I've always wondered if the methadone liquid suspension may be more concentrated at the bottom of the bottle, so when drinking the top half of the liquid it would be less potent? I'm not sure, may just be tolerance fucking with me.

Anyways, go ahead and use 25mg of methadone, and do not mix a benzo. Please report back with your results, I am interested to hear if you thought 25mg of methadone was remotely close to 160mg of oxycodone. I am interested.
 
He said it was "Great and fun". Haha not sure exactly what that means though, would like to hear a more detailed account of how it worked out. I agree that the conversion charts seem a little bit shady, and since I take 75mg methadone daily now and I am curious what my daily dosage actually equals in regards to oxycodone.

When did he respond with "great and fun"? Don't see it.

Anyway, my answer would be to start with 40mg, I know that people may disagree but the reason I say this is because when you are switched onto Methadone you start at 30mg and move up from there. 30mg does not get people high, not with habits like 160mg oxycodone. I'm not saying your tolerance is massive (I was taking 320mg, not trying to dick size) but some people are just taking like 60 or 70mg of oxycodone and start at that dose. Although I have heard of people starting lower than 30mg. In my opinion Methadone is x2.5 more potent than oxycodone. So I say 40mg is an alright dose to start at. You won't overdose or anything.

Although since this is your first time so you could start at 30mg and then take 40mg tomorrow if it didn't do anything. So maybe that would work better.
 
Actually the 25ml of methadone was not the same as 160mg of oxy. I ended up taking 45ml and feeling pretty great. It wasnt to much but I was feelin really good.
