Stimulants Liquidised meth, will it work?

My friend has got him self a decent amount of meff, and now wants me to dilute it into Diethyl ether, while keeping it a thick oily consistency. Once he's ready to evaporate, he was just going to spread it in a pyrex dish and put a flood light above it.

Will this work? If so, is there anything I can do to get better results?

If it won't work, why?

Please read the OD guidelines, this is way closer to the final synthesis or distribution process than it is a purification/extraction method, and this goes against all the HR values this forum stands for.

I suggest you use an anhydrous acetone wash to wash your crystals instead. It may be five times more explosive than gasoline but it's MUCH safer than what your "friend" is proposing.

The fact that you're using diethyl-ether makes me very suspicious about your intentions with the end product.

Diluting meth into ether and evaporating the solvent again is a waste of time, you won't accomplish anything.

Methamphetamine HCl isn't soluble in ether anyway.
