Liquid Vyvanse

So I emptied a Vyvanse capsul into some water to be able to dose in small amounts.
I did this yesterday in a shot glass and then wrapped the whole glass in Saran Wrap to try and preserve the solution left inside.
How long can this shot glass of water infused with Vyvanse sit at room temperature covered in Saran Wrap without it degrading or growing bacteria or otherwise becoming unsafe for ingestion?

Add a little salt and stick it in the fridge man, and I wouldn't let it set for more than 3 days in there (though since you did this yesterday, I don't know if the salt will help at this point).

I just added some flavored vodka to it so it's now half water half vodka

The Vyvanse was all settled at the bottom

The salt was for bacteria growth, but you added ethanol, I don't know how that will affect the vyvanse though...

Salt works for that?
I just added the alcohol for bacteria, didn't think it would affect the Vyvanse at all.
I'm gunna finish it off in a little bit, guess I'll find out if it works

the saline solution you get in a drip bag from the hospital is a 0.9% NaCl (aka table salt) aqueous solution.

edit: Though it's that, more so because of its isotonic properties with red blood cells.

good to know, I wish I had known that I could add a little salt before mixing water with vodka haha it's not the tastiest thing in the world

A better way to do this is empty the cap, completely so there's nothing left in the cap. Then divide the piles in however much u wanna take at once (eg. 40mg vyvance, split it into 4 equally sized piles, each contains about ~10mg lisdexamp each, give or take a mg). Then cover the piles and make sure u don't disturb them while they sit, at least untill you decide to dose that is! haha. But yea it's already said and done so I guess that's just my 2 cents.

How is that better ? It's less accurate than liquid dosing.

Because vyvanse is not really meant to be dissolved in water, hence the OP saying it all settled to the bottom, and when you have the piles of powder, they keep for as long as they are covered, so no need to worry about the sanitation of it like water. Also it does not seen like this specific case of liquid measurement used by the OP is very accurate at all from the description. But I digress.

Vyvance is water soluble? Wouldn't making it liquid be kinda pointless? Sounds like it didn't dissolve so well.

No, it is not. Alot of people say it is, but every time I've emptied a capsule into liquid and mixed it it gets stuck all over the bottom, sides, and seperates from the liquid.

So it would be pointless like I thought. It's also wasteful, if all the powder just sits at the bottom some of it will stick there when you drink it.

Just stick with eating or parachuting them. It's the only way to go with vyvance
