My last question was misunderstood I have a 10 mg/ 2ml bottle of I/M valiumn, it is supposed to be injected into the muscle but my question is do I take the entire bottle? (Seems like a lot to me but what do I know) I DO NOT want to shoot it into my vein I want to take it like it was meant to be taken but I do not know if the entire bottle is 10 mg.

May be able to help

I used to work in veterinary medicine and we had lots of injectable liquid valium. They looked like big, brown insulin vials.I forget how many ml were in each but it was quite a few as the bottles were pretty good sized. The label said diazapam injection USP,5mg/ml.Does yours say something similar? It should say how many mg per ml on the label somewhere. If not it would lead me to believe the entire bottle is 10 mg,especially if the entire vial is only 2 ml.But there is no way for me to be absolutely sure without seeing the bottle or at least knowing exactly how the entire label reads word for word.If you post the entire wording of the label or can somehow post a picture of the vial(along with the exact wording on the label)I may be able to provide a more definitive answer since I worked with quite a bit of injectable diazapam on a daily basis.By the way, injectable preperations of diazapam are meant for both iv and im/subcutaneous use.
We used this(sometimes in a cocktail mixed with either Acepromazine or Ketamine)for non or minimally invasive procedures such as dental cleanings etc...where you wanted the animal sedated but not completely under anesthesia that required intubation, oxygen,EKG monitoring etc... It burns like hell even when you hit the vein.We usually administered it iv.

Clear vial. Valium solution. 10mg/2ml. IM/IV. Were given to a guy after car accident. He gave me an extra vial he did not use. Am not able to contact him with my questions till next week but am not very patient person.

Small vials...1/4 the size of an insulin vial.

If the capacity of the vial is 2ml and it says valium solution 10mg/2ml then you indeed have a single use 10mg vial of injectable valium. If you shoot it im or sub-q(under the skin)the effects won't be that much different than eating a 10mg blue valium pill.It will just hit you a little quicker and maybe slightly stronger but the difference will not be much.Iv is another story(I always ivd the vials I swiped).Remember,it will burn a bit but nothing you shouldn't be able to handle.Hpoe this gives you a satisfactory answer.Have fun you lucky dog, lol.

Thank you so much. I am not one for experimenting I like my pills and have never shot anything but insulin. Since my insulin syringes are only 1/2 cc I ended up doing 4 shots half hour apart as precaution. Paranoid, yes. My husband laughed at me the entire time saying he would have used a vein and done it all at once....not me, I don't shoot up. You were right just like a 10mg pill and did have a little burn but not bad.
