Liquid Promethazine + Liquid Codeine = Worth it or not?

I've tried to search and find some conclusive information on this combo, which I have been prescribed and would like to use recreationally, but I can't seem to.

I have pretty much no opiate tolerance - a 20mg insufflated oxycontin gets me feeling fantastic. Given this info, can anyone recommend a dosage?

From what I have read, the type I have consists of 10mg codeine & 6.5mg promethazine per 5ml.

So you have 65mg of promethazine for 100mg of codeine. Promethazine is clearly here to deter codeine abuse, as I wouldn't take more than 50mg of it to potentiate 300mg of codeine.
That's 195mg of promethazine, clearly too strong of a dose, you'd be severly sedated or worse, hallucinating...
You could try 50ml = 100mg of codeine and 65mg of promethazine, and see what it does, but no more, not worth it IMO.

^I doubt someone with his tolerance needs 300 mg of codeine for a high though.

Promethazine also is a CYP2D6 inhibitor, meaning it inihibits the thing that turns codeine into morphine, which is bad. Promethazine is also a dopamine antagonist, albeit a quite weak one, which is also bad.

I've done codeine and promethazine syrup before, it's fairly popular in Texas because of Chop & Screw music. It's ok for recreation if you have a small tolerance, just make sure not to take more then 50 mg of promethazine, and even that is quite a bit. Like others said, taking too much promethazine is bad.
