Liquid Morphine Tartrate routes of administration

ok, by chance came across the following:
Morphine Tartrate Injection
Code Strength Pack
4665B 120mg/1.5mL 5 x 2mL ampoules
i am an opiate newbie, (although well familiar with the SEARCH button), so please pardon my ignorance in these matters. i have no tolerance, am hesitant to inject, and the dose per ampoule seems very high (recommended dose is ~10-20 mg IM). apparently the tartrate is equipotent to the sulfate. therefore, my questions are as follow:
1. are there other routes of admin (ie oral) for this liquid formulation; if so, what are the most preferred ones, and newbie recreational doses for each route?
2. is it possible (and effective) to simply dehydrate to powder form and insufflate or smoke, or will a conversion to a freebase be required? if the latter, how is there an easy way to accomplish this?

You could take it orally. Oral morphine, imo, seems to be a very inefficient route. I have nothing to base that on except my own personal experience. Imo, anything less thana 30mg oral dose would be a waste of time but dont go much higher than that your first time.
You can try evapping off the liquid. Keep this in mind though: Morphine degreades at a VERY low temperature....somethine like 180F so dont get the soln to hot.
Dont try smoking the morphine. Like I said it degrades at high temps. Unless you have alot of experiences with vaporizing chems, your gonna break it down to shit. Same goes with the freebase. It also degrades at low temps.
If you evap off the liq and are left with morph and preservatives, snort it.
If IVing is outta the question at least consider IVin straight outta the ampule. 20mg would be a good starting dose.
 
I can't give you much help as far as other routes of administration go, but check out this thread. It was started by kharma_bum regarding IM-ing some ketamine. I know that's not what you've got, but I posted a few links to some injection sites. Also, fairnymph posted a good deal of helpful info regarding IM shots. If you're willing to, I'd read up on how to IM the substance. It's really not that difficult, and since you're lucky enough to already have the morphine in a liquid, injectible form I'd take full advantadge of it! If you need any more help as far as IM-ing it goes, just ask.
 
I *think* the different routes of administration of morphine are like this: 10mg IV = 30mg Insufflated = 60mg Orally. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Wow. You're a lucky sonuvabitch. I've not heard of those doses in an IV bottle. They must be for dilution in a drip. Anyway, it'd be a travesty not to inject that shit. I'd IV 20mg. However, if you're not going to, drinking 1 whole vial will get someone with a tolerance high as shit. If you have no tolerance then I'd start with 100mg orally just to be safe. Have fun.
