Morphine's oral bioavailability is very low.

The reason to add baking soda to the morphine sol'n is to nearly double the bioavailibility.

If you add too much you can always just drink it.

Can you elaborate? I guess I'll do a search, but you reccomend adding baking soda to liquid morphine for rectal use?
