Liquid Meth??

So my friend was trying to tell me that "Purple Drank" is supposedly "Liquid Meth". (I am pretty sure Purple Drank is Robotussin and Sprite). Honestly I have never heard of liquid meth and I spend quite a bit of time on this website, and it has never come up in any of my readings.

So if this exists, can someone please shed some light on what it is/does/components/effects?

I mean this friend really doesn't know anything about drugs or substances so I think he may be full of shit but I wanna know if it is true?

"Purple Drank" is not made with DXM cough syrup, but with codeine/promethazine syrup, Sprite, and a purple Jolly Rancher. There is no meth.

Methamphetamine freebase is an oil, but it's extremely uncommon. Meth is almost always encountered as the salt, which is solid at room temperature. The effects of both are identical.

Purple Drank is for sure codeine with promethazine and a jolly rancher,and sprite or some other clear soda ...I lived in Memphis long enough to know this...lol...liquid meth is unstable at room temperature and i usually found only at a meth lab during the cooking process and is not left liquid long because it will start to weaken or whatever after a while,altho i suppose you could carry liquid meth in a dark brown glass vial,but i have never seen anyone do that, i have seen people liquify powder or crytal meth and put it in something,usually a syringe for injecting later during the night or whavtever but never seen or heard of a cook selling straight liquid meth or anyone carrying around liquid meth unless its in small amounts made by breaking down powder or crystal meth into liquid ,but like i said thats for personal use in a short span of time,.
