Hey everyone so I don't post that much but I had a major problem happen earlier. I had no works other than an emergency one that has probably been used 3-4 times, yes I know try to use riggs only once. Anyways as I prepared my mixture in my spoon, sucked up via filter, the tip of the 1/2cc syringe breaks off in the spoon, I get the tip 100% off and out of the spoon. However now I have no works to IV, I don't get paid until Tuesday and my state doesn't offer syringes at pharms nor do we have any needle exchanges to my knowledge. Closest friend to me that IVs is 50 miles away and he quit IVing months ago.So finally heres my question can I let the solution (15 mg perc + 1/2cc of water) sit in the spoon and dry out and sniff it once its dried out? Also desperate but worth asking, could I technically keep the spoon + powder in an air tight container once dry and add water once I have a new work on Tuesday.(i.e. reboot?) Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

tl;dr After drying a perc/water solution is it something you can sniff or IV. I don't see why not but I'm fairly new to IVing and opiates in general(1 year>)

mmm i love the feeling of paracetamol coursing through my veins:|

kidding brah, don't shoot percocets..

you can snort it though.

Sorry I think I used the wrong terminology, its a Roxi technically, everyone in my area just calls 'em percs. Its a "M" 15mg no other active ingredients to my knowledge. I mean obviously theres some binder that the filter won't necessarily rid of, but the way I was taught is after filtering you should end up with just oxycodone. I think saying perc screwed me up, its a Roxi I guess technically ;)

Please do not inject percocet. You likely did not micron filter, hence this is a very dangerous practice.

Re-using needles increases the chance you will miss your shot.

Missing your shot, and not micron filtering, can and will lead to abscesses sometimes.

The same goes for roxicodone. It may have less binders, it doesn't have the APAP, but it still has binders nonetheless.

What state do you live in? You likely have not researched to find a needle exchange, or you live in a state with vague state laws, or in a state that varies by county (Florida for instance).

You have been taught wrong.

Micron filtering may leave you with just oxycodone in water, but cotton filtering is very poor and leaves you with a bunch of binders with your oxycodone.

If there was only oxycodone in water, the water would be 100% clear. If it's milky looking, even if it isn't extremely thick and chalky looking, anything but clear water obviously indicates the presence of binders, or other foreign material that should not be there.

Thanks for the info so far guys.

Heya Captain, I live in Delaware the only Needle Exchange program I could find is in Wilmington which is approx 75 miles to drive for me one-way. However after talking to a friend, I learned I can travel over to Maryland and get a few packs of syringes from a pharm with ID and signing off on a few papers. However once again its still a long drive for me. I'm aware I probably shouldn't be shooting Roxis(Not a Perc) even without the APAP however I've never gotten a bump/knot usually because I've only missed twice and I do usually use my syringes only once. I'm not saying just because I've had OK results doesn't mean it makes it ok, but I would prefer to IV if I can once I can get a syringe and the solution is dry..Worst case scenario I sniff it, which I'm fine with.

Once again I left out a word, sorry its late and I've been up for close to 66 hours now, I was using a micron filter, the water was 99% clear, i could read the numbers through the other side of the syringe. I may be new but I would never IV something resembling corn starch/milk. I appreciate the harm reduction. Knowledge is power

You could just drink the solution. IIRC Oxycodone is quite effective orally, ~80% bioavailability and snorting is about the same as taking it orally, it just may make it hit you a bit quicker. If having it hit you quicker is what you're going for, you could try to take the solution sublingually, but that's gonna taste terrible.

Another thought, if the tip of the syringe is completely broken off, you can try to squirt the solution up your nose, which is more efficient than snorting a powder, as the solution will more effectively coat your mucus membranes and be absorbed more efficiently as well. There is the option of taking it rectally, but many people are not too into putting stuff up their butt and I don't blame them for it either.

Simply letting a mucky solution of oxycodone and water + whatever binders/fillers got into it, to dry for a week or whatever is just asking for trouble. On a non sterile environment you've got the potential for bacteria growth.

It's 15mg of oxycodone, man, come one.. Just squirt it up your nose with the needle-less syringe, plug it, or just fucking swallow it.

I am pretty sure your hope's of shooting this solution are wishful thinking at best. Wishing for an abscess or infection.

Just to put this out here, that was my last ten bucks until the 15th, I don't have even a dime to my name. So you can see how I was little upset when my tip broke and I was still trying to see if I could IV down the road or at least sniff it now(what I ended up doing). I understand OD is all for harm reduction but you come off really condescending when you criticize an idea I had,I was "thinking" it MAY work hence why I asked BL--OD..I've seen dope addicts fill their syringe with rain water out of a pothole, you don't have to be-little me and make me sound like I don't care what goes into my body.

P.s. Thanks everyone, ended up shooting the oxycodone out of the broken syringe into the spoon with the rest of the solution and let a few hours pass, caught a light buzz, gone in 20 mins. Oh well could have ended worse right? Like the tip breaking off in my arm. At least I got a little something over nothing. Lesson/knowledge learned.

I agree OP. You asked some normal questions in reasonable terms and got a fair amount of flak for it which usually we try and prevent. We do get a ton of questions like this though where usually the most important thing is to try and convince the poster to start using micron filtering, stop shooting APAP, and generally take care of themselves, but you seem pretty smart about it already. Glad everything pretty much worked out for you :)

If you had attempted to evaporate the shot and regain the solid oxy salt you could have used a shallow dish over low heat with a bit of alcohol mixed in and it would work fine. The only issue is because you are only collecting 15mg the residue would be barely noticeable and a lot would be lost just sticking to the pan.

Flak? I was not trying to sound condescending at all.. I obviously cannot stop you from doing anything, and I personally do not think that I came off as sounding like an asshole. If I did, than I apologize. I simply gave you a short, to the point answer that happened to include the word "fucking".

All I was saying is, letting water + a drug sit in a spoon for a week or whatver, can promote bacteria growth.. And with no needle tip, you can easily plug it, or squirt it up your nose, or take it orally.

And don't talk to me about money man. You don't know my situation at all. So don't even start. PM me if you want to have a friendly chat about having no money. I nearly died of cancer and now the government is taking away my benefits, and because my dad died 2 years ago, a vietnam Vet, they government is also denying my mom and I the service related benefits we are ENTITLED to. Between my mom and I we have two dollars and 51 cents in the bank until next wednesday. And our electricity will be shut off on the 20th if we don't pay our ALREADY 3 month past due light bill.

So i'm sorry. I already know I am a miserable prick who doesn't even deserve to live at this point much less moderate a message board. too bad hand guns are so hard to purchase in new jersey.

Oh, good job! I am glad to hear you used a micron filter.

I didn't think you did based upon your earlier posts.

In my shattered state of mind I can't tell if you're just trying to be a jerk or what.

He has 3 posts, I think he just wants to be friends with someone on Bluelight. :)
