Opioids Liquid Codeine question

I used to call myself a casual opiate user until i realise there is no such thing, however i have been clean for 5 days down to 0 from shooting up 3-5 oxy 30's a day sometimes more, (90-150mg IV) I recently came across this

120mg/12/7%

120mg tylenol--------------PER 5ML
12mg codeine phosphate--------------PER 5ML
7% alcohol--------------PER 5ML


i just consumed 8 doses of that recomended dose, in otherwords 40ml

thats 96mg of codeine and 960 mg of tylenol

What can i compare that too as far as opiates go, say 100mg of codeine would be equal to what??

just wondering what i did quitting these damn things is proving to be a most difficult task.

This isn't the best opioid chart in the world, but you get the idea. Basically codeine is pathetically impotent, and will not even come close to matching IV oxycodone.

As you can see from the chart, it takes roughly 100mg codeine to equal 5-7.5mg oxycodone. Now one thing about codeine is it's unpredictability, as ultrarapid metabolizers get MUCH more effect, while poor metabolizers get even less. So best case scenario, codeine is double the strength for you. Even then, 96mg codiene is weaker than 15mg oxy, and if you double the dose, around 20-25mg, and that's if you happen to be in the 10% of the population that has ultra-efficient CYP2D6 activity!!! Otherwise, if your a normal metabolizer you could triple the dose, it would still be weaker than 15mg oxycoodone, and you would be borderline on an APAP OD.

Basically, it's a waste of time if you we're really IV'ing 90-120mg oxy a day. Considering the higher BA of IV oxy, it would take over 2'000mg of codiene!!! Sorry kid...

(Edit to say that, Please do not OD on APAP when drinking even he whole bottle is less than 1/4th of your dose...)
