Opioids Liquid Acetaminophen/Codeine

Some kid that lives on my block has a sister who had a surgery and is in possession of liquid/acetaminophen in a liquid form. The kid down the block is wondering if he can dip his cigarettes in them and if the acetaminophen is really THAT bad for him. also, is there any way to extract the codeine from the syrup? are there specific methods to

anywho, since dipping a cigarette in it may be bad for the poor kid, how much would it take to drink to get him feelin' fine. will the acetaminophen make him sick?

You shouldn't consume more than 4g of acetaminophen in a day without risking acute liver damage, and if dosing often then you want to get it down to 1 or 2 g/day. Dipping your cigarette in it is an absolutely fruitless action.

An extraction may evaporating the liquid (assuming it is alcohol). Then dissolving the remaining solids into a little bit of water and filtering out the acetaminophen. If there are other active ingredients besides codeine and APAP though, (eg anti-nausea, expectorant, decongestant, antihistamine, etc.) then this may not be feasible. Furthermore I'm not sure how some of the other inactive may effect the solubility of APAP.
