Lights for at home

Hi all. I will be having a small get together with some friends and mdma.

I got rid of my gloves so now we have no lights. I was thinking maybe buying a laser at spencers, although the quality seems terrible.

I like lasers and bright flashing lights.

What lights do you recommend to get? Where could I get them? Price is not an issue, but can't get them offline as I need them for tomorrow.

Please give me some ideas :). Thanks

If so , Lights off and tape a glowstick to it,

Also, On a decent sized TV, Xbox 360 media audio visualiser does well. :)
 
How do you do the xbox visualizer? I was so fucked last time I couldn't figure it out haha. Do you need to have music playing through it or can you do it without?

As for the strobe light, I feel like one color strobe is kinda boring, but maybe I'll toss one in the fun!
 
Christmas lights. If you have a large closet, clear the floor and put down pillows and blankets, and string christmas lights above across the top of the closet.

Well most of my tunes are on my PC,
So,
Just put music on your xbox hardrive or a memory stick and play it straight from that,
It should say press Y for full screen visualisation and you can wiggle the sticks and move it around,
I kept doing it to the music lol.

But yeah because my pc has all the music, i just muted sound and played my own from the pc,

absolutely christmas lights - more diffuse than other forms of light...

My friends and I covered the walls in white paper, (With the massive rolls you can get) broke open a few glow sticks and went nuts. Just mind the carpet haha. We definitely got some on the carpet but after 24 hours or so you cant even notice it. totally worth it though, that was fucking epic.

That's a wicked idea too. Especially with a few different colors on every other blaze or so.
 
My advice is whack on Armin ONly 2008 on a tv/surround sound and have winamp visuals running in another room. try theme rooms with different music to cater for people, glow sticks are great or even better get a laser star projector, nothing beats having a cosmos on your roof walls!!! it will produce awesome visuals if u eat enough mdma :D

Which laser star are you referring to. There's one on the spencers site but I don't know if I'd rather have that or regular lasers going.
 
Department stores (here in Canada: Walmart, Zellers) will have blacklights
Halloween stores will have strobe lights and blacklights (well they are supposed to, I've tried finding things there and they don't always work)
There are these cool lights that light up to the music but I don't know where you can find it
Get tons of glowsticks and put them all over the wall and stuff like that
 
camping section of walmart or hardware stores.... get led colored "flashlights" and sometimes they'll have like warning flare looking things, but they're really rave toys, don't be fooled ;)
i prefer led lights to anything else to play around and give light shows with

i am fascinated to imagine what issues are at play which mean you can't participate in a thread about mdma and lights without having a condescending dig at other people's technology choices... maybe take some mdma and consider why you said that? :\
